Some more bashing of Sarah Palin on Sunday nights episode of CBSs The Good Wife, but the scene also managed to deliver an illustrative dramatization of liberals in a bubble displaying arrogant condescension toward those who dare stray from liberal orthodoxy and how they learn to despise the Fox News Channel via Jon Stewart.
A couple who are old college friends of liberal lawyer Diane Lockhart visit and meet her fiancé, Gary Cole as Sarah Palin supporter, gun owner and ballistics expert Kurt McVeigh. An appalled Francesca despairs: But his views, Diane. All his views. He supports Sarah Palin!
She soon lectures, before getting cut off: Issues matter. I know were all supposed to disagree and smile and go home and pretend its all some big tennis match, but people end up poorer, guns end up killing people. Global warming keeps destroying our-

Francesca, and husband Lyle, played by left-wing comedian Robert Klein, meet Lockhart and McVeigh in a restaurant where they learn he owns a gun. Francesca exclaims: So you dont think Sandy Hook changed anything?
Later, at the apartment of Lockhart, played by Christine Baranski, Francesca expresses her disgust with how her soon-to-be-husband likes Palin. Lockhart, a fan of Hillary Clintons, laughs as she acknowledges, I fell in love with a Palin supporter.
To which Lyle, just after grabbing hold of Sarah Palins book, Going Rogue, on a bookshelf, scolds: Its not funny, Diane. Did you see her? Shes back on Fox.
Lockhart points out: Oh, you dont watch Fox. Lyle counters, showing where liberals learn about FNC: They show clips on Jon Stewart.(continued)

I think Ghandi said:
First they ignore you. Then they mock you. Then they fight you.
Then you win.
Just another garbage program that no one watches..the BS in CBS stands for, well ya know
I put this show on my Do Not Watch List a long ago for its Marxist BS and the nasty characters it portrays. Chris Noth, one of the leads, is the brain-dead jerk who accused Tea Party Republicans of being racists last week.
I watched it...they seemed to be mocking the liberals. But I can see how others might make the other call.
When our city went to digital TV, the local tinfoil hat group managed to severely restrict the radiation pattern of the new antenna, leaving us with only two TV channels.
Thanks to you, a$$hats, I never again have to watch so much of the stuff I read about.
I have recently been watching a lot of old TV shows and as a rule they are far better than what is out now.
I have noticed a few liberal ideas being pushed very strongly.
“Hawaii 5-0” is as anti gun as any show I have ever seen. It even seems silly at times. Dragnet which is conservative in many ways seems to feel only cops should have guns but they don’t hit it really hard and I do like to watch SGT Friday walk without swinging his arms. Also Wyatt Earp with Hugh O’Brien lets a bit of anti gun propaganda get into the show.
Daniel Boone is the worst one about evil White men and he is often saved by a Black man or Indian. The theme song says that he fights for America to make all Americans free.
All in all Hawaii 5-0 is the worst on guns. They pure hate the idea of civilians having guns.
For some reason I just don’t think that is what D. Boone is doing.
I actually enjoy it. Yes it’s a bit of a soap opera but it’s always involving and can be wickedly funny when they’re tweaking liberal sensitivities.
Heh. I deleted my CBS station from my tv-set’s channel rotation back in 2009, when Letterman was making his vile attacks on Palin, making ‘rape’ jokes about her underage daughter, and then wrapped it up with that faux, insincere “apology” of his. I’d still like to punch Letterman’s face into a bloody pulp.
Haven’t watched a single second of CBS since.
Well my Good Wife shot 2 hogs, 2 Whitetail Bucks and a nice 5x5 Bull Elk last year. That little Lady can fill a freezer!
Are they one of the programs who are going to voice their phony Obamacare is good? I like the program; but if this is what it is leading to; forget it.
“Id still like to punch Lettermans face into a bloody pulp.”
There is only one reason why I’d like to become world famous, so that Letterman’s “people” would beg me, time and time again, to come on his show, and I would always and forever decline.
I’ve felt that way for a long time before any of us ever heard of Sarah Palin.
He is a rude and nasty man, earns his living at it, and enjoys it. A really despicable person.
Yawn. Nothing new from the Alphabet networks. I remember when real virulent anti-handgun plots were on almost all shows back in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
They ONLY wanted to control handguns back then. Long guns would not be affected, they said.
I will take 5-0 with its anti gun message over 95% of what is on today. Dragnet is still good TV.
You can keep Daniel Boone and The Rifleman. Neither one ever did anything for me.
Me-TV is one of the best things to happen to cable in my opinion in a long time. It reminds me of those great little independent channels of many years back that ran essentially whatever they wanted and could afford.
I also like how Me-TV promos some of the stars that are still around of the old shows. Digging up Kevin Dobson of Kojak fame is a good one.
Quite easy to defend Sarah.
When they attempt to portray her as stupid, ask them;
“How did she manage to out negotiate the OIL COMPANIES, so they now pay Alaskan’s a much larger percentage of their revenue?”
As for her “quitting as Gov.”
She was forced to spend a personal fortune and significant State fund defending against frivolous law suits.
how is wild hog?
I like to imagine that slow cooked on a spit over an open fire and basted for about 24 hours would be yummy
It seems to go both ways some of the time.
Later in the same episode, Diane meets Kurt's friends, who just happen to be four astoundingly good looking, late twenties women, who warmly welcome Diane with the line "We're the fire breathing conservatives you've been hearing about".
Needless to say, Diane is ONLY concerned that they are twenty something and knockouts. Conservative world class ballistics experts doesn't even cross her mind.
