Last week on “The O’Reilly Factor,” I recalled how Barack Obama spoke in 2008 about the “fundamental transformation of the nation.” After five years of his presidency, we see the enormous success he’s had in achieving it.
The objective was always to move America away from a nation built on individual liberty and economic freedom and toward a government welfare and dependency state. Socialism, communism, statism, leftism — in the end it doesn’t matter what you call it, because what matters is what’s being carried out…and its consequences.

Radical wealth redistribution, class warfare, socialized medicine, the atomization of American society, divisive identity politics, the war on success, the loss of our Triple A credit rating, the retrenchment of U.S. power abroad, the gutting of our military, the erosion of our international credibility.
It’s all being done deliberately by Obama and the left in order to “fundamentally transform” this country into just another crippled dependency state.
After five years of evidence, people are still wondering aloud why Obama doesn’t negotiate, why he doesn’t compromise, why he doesn’t handle things the way, say, Bill Clinton did.

The wealth distribution is not from the “rich” to the “poor.” The rich, and that includes the politicians, take care of their own. Always have, always will. The distribution is from the middle class to the “poor,” who end up being not so poor at all. They have become the new leisure class, supported by the formerly middle class.
From there they could influence all other cultural institutions.

I just read that only 11% of the general population send their kids to private schools. But 44% of teachers send their kids to private schools.

NYC’s is over $22,000 per pupil per year in the large public schools. Even the charter schools do it for less. The parochial schools make the public schools a laughingstock.

What a deal!
Unfortunately, 50% of our population is sucking on the GOVERNMENT’s TITs. As far as I know, no body every voted to get rid of SANTA CLAUS. As long as SANTA CLAUS is running for re-election, at the very least 50% of the voters will vote for him. The only time SANTA CLAUS will not get re-elected is when he proves himself to be a liar and a poltroon. Like what is happening in Greece and Spain. Finally, those people in those countries have realized that they have been lied to, by the liberal politicians in those countries. I’m afraid that before our voters open their eyes, the same thing must happen here. Then, all these voters will have their eyes opened real wide, but by then, it may be too late for all of us. When that happens, we will get a very CHARISMATIC “LEADER” that will be a dictator. This is what’s happening in Greece and Spain today.
We all saw this coming.
In the end it didn’t matter, because a plurality of voters suffered from a combination of guilt, ignorance and stupidity. Now they get to reap what they sow.
I hope they enjoy their new part-time jobs, higher insurance premiums and front row seats watching the once-great United States wither away into a penniless third-world state.
Food is the ultimate weapon.
When the masses are dependent upon the federal government for their food there will be no resistance.
Obama doesn’t want to create jobs and help citizens remain self supporting - he wants to create more dependency on the federal government.
As Obama drives more and more people into poverty the federal government is waiting to sign them up for food stamps.
Once the government is the sole source of food for you and your family they can withhold it anytime you do not follow their instructions.
He has no more goodies in his bag? Or, the pain he brings is overwhelming his benevolence?

Sorry, will be much too late! You can’t keep expanding the entitlement state and expect them to give it back at a later date. We are not France or worse, (actually worse but who counts) but at least we don’t realize it yet. When that happens, guess who will be to blame - the Republicans of course for letting it happen.
