NO. They are poorly designed and stupidly implemented.

Bingo!

But, of course, they will blame Republicans anyway. Many looney lefties are already claiming that Republicans are “obstructing” the implementation of Dear Leader’s magnificent plan.

No. I have a friend with a history of great success as a systems architect. She was hired on a contract basis to work on this cluster. She tried for awhile, found out how terminally screwed up it was, and told her superiors how bad it was and that it couldn’t work. They told her to shut up. She tried going upstream with her warnings and was fired. As a contractor she is not protected by whistleblower laws. But she says the thing was a hopeless mess. No need for anyone to hack the site to mess it up.

First page of registration has 56 Java Script callouts and 11 CSS stylesheets.

Er.....the ENTIRE CONCEPT of css was to have ONE stylesheet. WOW

20,000 government bureaucrats working with paid consultants who charge by the hour to meet fantasy political goals and deadlines are more than enough to create a pile of sh** operating system - all by itself without any help from hackers.

Yet if Amazon can handle 70,000,000 hits a week and function OK, then how come a half-billion dollar site (or application as you call it) FUBO’s up?

I take it you’re not too familiar with government-contracted, no-bid, IT development work.

Part of its badness is incompetence, part of it is design by committee, part of it is done as a strategy to require expansion of the contract to fix what wasn’t done right originally, etc., etc..

Do you not understand the difference between free, competitive markets and rigged government contracts?

If much of the design relies on 10 year old + technology, it is possible it’s already outdated.

11 CSS style sheets? Wha...?

I am the WORST scripter in the world and even I can grasp the concept of style sheets. We are in Mao's China, I think they put the sewer workers in charge of creating the website. I wonder who they are going to make the doctors?

Incompetence is rampant. I honestly don't know how we make it week to week.

Who ever wrote this article obviously never has the ‘pleasure ‘ of seeing the work of the cheapest aka ‘the brightest and the best’ to whom the work was outsourced.

Nor have they had the ‘pleasure’ of wresting specs out of government reps.

Combine the two with nearly no testing and you don’t need sabotage.

First, anyone familiar with big IT systems knows that the $600 million price tag is hilariously low. More likely in the $1.2 to $1.8 Billion range.

And if you want to see a similar situation, go to Nextgov.com and search on USCIS Transformation. A lot more time and money flushed down the toilet for the IT system intended to handle comprehensive immigration reform ...

Oh absolutely. In fact the Obamacare website is actually running as designed. If it was fully functional - nobody would sign up for it, due to the costs.

So this way - they are still deluding the sheeple.

“If you think you hate it now - just wait till you drive it.”
~ National Lampoon’s Vacation

Same thing applies here. As screwed up as signing up for FUBOCare is now - just wait till 1/6 of our economy is run as efficiently as the Post Office.

Why would a website that took over 600 million dollars and 3 years to develop not work?

It's a Canadian conspiracy to overthrow the United States, one sick person at a time!
