Alan Grayson: Tea Party ‘Largest Suicide Pact in History,’ ‘No More Popular Than the Klan’
mediaite.com ^ | October 17, 2013 | Josh Feldman

Posted on 10/17/2013 7:48:15 PM PDT by Tailgunner Joe

Democratic congressman Alan Grayson is a very colorful man, and in keeping with that reputation, during an appearance on Al Sharpton‘s MSNBC show Thursday, he said the tea party is just about as popular as the KKK and compared John Boehner to Dr. Jekyll, among other things.

Grayson joined Sharpton in bashing the tea party, saying Americans want them out of their lives and “at this point, the tea party’s no more popular than the Klan.”

This is not the first time Grayson had made this comparison, saying in 2010 that the attendees of Glenn Beck‘s big rally were “wearing sheets over their heads 25 years ago.”

Grayson predicted that the GOP is a dying party, “on its way out” like the Whigs were. He told Sharpton they “want to bring about the end of days” and cause utter “destruction” like “the largest suicide pact in history.” Grayson said it’s time to vote out tea partiers they’re not doing anything useful for the benefit of the country.

But it’s not just the tea partiers who need to go in Grayson’s mind, John Boehner needs to join them. He called the House Speaker a “short-order cook for the far-right wing,” and saying that the “useless” Boehner used to be Dr. Jekyll and now he’s morphed into Mr. Hyde.

Colorful is too kind. Alan Grayson illustrates the Democrats’ commitment to hiring the psychotic.

They love to define the Conservatives and Tea Party with these lies. Unfortunately, it works. They come out with 50 lies a day and only one per week is debunked by the right. That's a major reason why we have a black eye today.

The PR machine needs much improvement so that the Democrats and RINOs have absolutely NO wiggle room to come attacking without looking like idiots and anti-freedom dictators.

The liberals watch this channel then bring these talking points to CNN and other networks or to the office the next day.

No, Socialism is the largest suicide pact in history and what the Kenyan-in-Chief is doing to this Nation is playing Kevorkian to the portion of the American Public who value free stuff over individual Freedom.

Those of us who value our individual, God-given, inalienable rights have to act up and act up now - it's 1775!

America demands Justice for the Fallen of Benghazi!

Genuflectimus non ad principem sed ad Principem Pacis!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

And this is a guy who was elected through massive voter fraud. Nobody in Florida likes him, either liberals, conservatives or libertarians. Everybody knows he’s a flake and has no right to be in Congress.

I have to ask: Is there even a PR battle be won anymore? Should our energies really be devoted to ensuring the mainstream public gets the “right” message?

Lol.

They really want the tea party, to be like the currently-larger GOP.

Sorry. Not gonna happen.

Their intent is to marginalize conservatives. This is all part of their plan...and yes, it is just like germany pre WWII.

That is true what you say but Democrats have redefined the Tea Party as right winged Conservatives within the Republican party led by Ted Cruz.

Look I’m all for Ted Cruz being in charge at the moment, except he’s against healthcare expansion.

Otherwise he’s completely on the right track.

Ted Cruz is long overdue. Keep talking Ted.

Absolutely, if you want the movement to grow.

Be what they fear. They fear us. Be what they fear.

When they holler.....do it again....make them holler louder.

It is not we who have changed, mutated, deformed, decayed. It is them.

They are liars. Freaks. Reprobates. Deal with them as you would a shrieking fish wife. Smile and stare them down.

We are many. They few. They are organized and focused. We need to become so. We are beginning to become so.

18 GOP Senators (40% of the party there) stood! 144 House Members (60% of the party there) stood. Including 7 of the 11 GOP reps in my own Ohio....63%!!!

Much more than supported independence in the big one, 1775/1776.

Now, question is, what do we do about those who did not.

Support ANY and all primary challengers to these weasels. Support candidates, not parties.

We can’t promise anyone victory. But we can promise to fight. Fight.
