Despite the standing ovation John Boehner received from his caucus on Wednesday, Judge Andrew Napolitano says he believes the Speaker will be replaced before the next debt ceiling deadline.
(Excerpt) Read more at radio.foxnews.com ...
He says his sources are in the “small government group”, and Boehner will not be Speaker for the next battle. What is inaccurate about the title? Is it because it implies he’ll retire?
I’ve been looking for an article that shows who voted and how. Do you have a link? Please post one if you do. Thanks.
The Judge told Tom Sullivan that his sources in the House Tea Party caucus want Boehner out and that the standing ovation was nothing more than them saying farewell.
The House Tea Party Caucus wants Boehner out. That's hardly a majority. Trust me, I wish it were.
I got the impression from listening to it that those members had a sense that he was going, not that it was just ‘their wish’. Why would it be their farewell if they knew he’d be sticking around? Remember, on this vote, the majority voted against him again.
(And he's retiring ASAP.)
I’ll beleive it when I see it.
In 2014, Pelosi will be Speaker anyway and the country’s destruction will be complete.
I was already shown this earlier by a FRiend and so I will repeat my reply to it here:
Well I am sure Bohners Tea Party caucus (~ 1/5 to 1/4th of his GOP members) wants Boehner out (as post above says) but :
1) Thats not the same as ANY OF them stepping up to the plate to be speaker themselves. That takes men not frighted mice.
2) I don't think the judge is a great source to go by on this, I assume his viewers wanted to hear him say that and he was feeding them.
3) A week or two ago I heard that Bohner warned them that he would pass the Debt limit with or without them, so they all knew this was coming. Obama probably heard that and demanded that CR be attached to it.
Please keep pinging me with this subject its an issue of interest. I don't expect any of the House GOP mice to stand up and show us how its done. Where you hiding Lou (Gomert) ???
Well, who do we got?
They're both in the Senate.
How about Cruz for Senate Minority leader, and then President of the Senate.
Kelly is Hot!

No one will take Boners job, call your favorite pet house hero and ask him to run against him as speaker, I dare you. He will never return the call.

You should challenge them (your favorite house members) to oppose him as Speaker by running for it themselves now , this losing and then scape-goating whining stuff is long past old.

Endless Kabuki dance
It doesn't have to be an elected member of the body.
Practically it does have to be a house member WHO IS RUNNING (this is key) if to not to be just another ...ing joke like in January when Lou Gomert voted for someone that no-one else did who was not even in house themselves.
So is every one of the House Tea Party caucus a fwighted mouse who only votes 'no' because he is terrified? Are you saying every one is a coward who only believes in fear?
Not one ,,, leader who is willing to do more than just talk?? ...none Willing to be Speaker ? (except Pelosi?)
That is why Obama wins.
I should ask, do you have someone specific in mind?
Tom Delay?
RE :”Tom Delay?”
LOL
A lot of the TEApublicans were freshmen when he ran for re-election.
Maybe the passage of time under Boner, combined with the recent example of Cruz et al, will embolden some of the newbys to step forward.
