Commissar Jarvis did what Obama directed him to do.
Jarvis was hiding behind the “anti-deficiency clause”, which was a lie.
He pretended he had to close open air facilities due to this clause.
The fact is that the clause keeps them from expending funds, when none are authorized.
The reality is that the actions taken to close, tape, and barricade these locations were the only violations of this clause.
Doing NOTHING, costs NOTHING!
Therefore, no unauthorized expenditures.
Great questioning by Rep Goudy! And yet, not one f____n thing will happen to this mini-tyrant Jarvis, nor to 0dumb0 or any of his other nazi henchmen! As it has been stated hundreds of times already, 0dumb0 & his socialist-commie-demoRAT party could kill & roast babies on national TV and nothing would happen to them. We are ruled by a tyrant who can do anything he wants to, and there will not be any accountability or justice that he will face. Our nation is screwed!
Earlier this month, I was preparing a talk on the Civil War Battle of Chickamauga and wanted confirm some item, so I attempted to pull up the website of the Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park, only to find that it was shut donwn. Earlier this morning it was still down but the website for the Grand Canyon National Park was up.
Of course, Arizona was footing the bill to open Grand Canyon, but somehow I don’t believe that each park has its own server for its website. Obviously, the Grand Canyon website had been turned on since Arizona had openned the Park, but it would have cost the National Park Service no more money to turn on the other websites as well.
This behavior is another example of the punitive nature of the National Park shutdown.
Until October 1, I was a stronger supporter of the National Park system....
I watched about 4 hours of this yesterday, couldn’t stay until the end, but I figured it would be like all the rest of these dog and pony shows, everybody applauds everyone else, thanks all around, then it’s over.
It’s like watching a pilot for a TV show, will you ever see it again, who knows, maybe there are other shows that will be better.
This is simply circus. As you correctly point out nothing will change & no one held accountable. He was tough on Benghazi too, and see what that got him.
Congress is irrelevant. There is no oversight. There is no control of the purse. There is only the constant growth of govt. We have a long way to go to get to peak govt yet.
The only possible area for reform has to come from the States, but no State will stand up to the FedGov, and as more things like Common Core get passed the difference between States become less and less.
I once thought going Galt would hit the administration hard...but they don’t care about the economy, in fact they want the economy to tank.
I am unclear at what can be done.
Same for me. Actually I am convinced that the only thing that will stop our socialist-nazi government is for a Great Bloody Battle CW II to break out, and to live or try to survive with the consequences. I believe it is entirely possible that the USSA of Amerika will break up into 3-4 regional countries.
Whatever happens, it doesn't look good for conservative, patriotic, Christian Americans. After seeing the Park Svc Rangers eagerly putting up barricades & threatening anyone to cross over, and seeing dozens of thug jack booted police/Secret Svc/Park Police standing by and eagerly ready to beat the shit out of 85-96 yr old WW II veterans in wheel chairs & walkers, I have no confidence that our military or LEO will stand against the 0dumb0 gubmint. The socialist-nazi, liberal demoRATs will LOVE to mow down & massacre any Christians or conservatives or patriots. Massacring their opposition is what really gets these socialist-nazi thugs off (like 0dumb0!
We may have lots of gun owners but most of us are law abiding citizens and don't really relish individually taking on heavily armed & armored SWAT teams from multiple govt agencies. We are screwed, but maybe the Rapture will take place soon and then all hell brake loose on earth (which it will for the next 7 years).
