Ok, give up... sit it out. It was the same during the Revolution. I hope you have a successful hunt and a blessed day.

Are you reading comprehension impaired? I am saying that sitting home in a snit allowed Obama to be reelected. That led to this latest fiasco.

I have voted in every election since I legally could. I agree. Always vote... even if you have to write in a candidate. It is not something that you can force someone to do. Most Americans do not vote. How sad it that? I can understand why some didn’t vote in 2012. I will not attack them for following their conscience. I voted.

The interview I saw with Romney indicated him opposing Obamacare while disagreeing with the strategy the House was following. He did offer, IIRC, ways to kill it.

Rather than deceiving, the GOP e has a liberal faction

*******
I respect your view. My view is that the GOP problem goes beyond just the misguided influence of a liberal faction. It is fundamentally a weak party. The culture in the party and the money that supports it are very status quo oriented.

The GOP is quite comfortable with big government and deficit spending. I just don’t see the party culture ever changing. Its not the kind of organization that fights for anything. It is weak and passive, and we all know that the weak will eventually perish.

Regards.

You are preaching to the choir. Check my post 83. I WILL NOT attack those that didn't vote for that abortionist romney. I voted for him as the lesser of two evils. I will always vote but my vote for a Republican is no longer absolutely assured. I will ONLY vote for Conservatives... even if I have to write their name in.

Who needs a debt limit cap when Bernanke’s been pulling 85 billion a month out of his arse.

I blame RINO who run as conservatives and then stab us in the back...

What goes around comes around...if you are disappointed in conservatives now just wait....your back stabbing ways are just starting to catch up to you.

She and many other political elitists live in the DC bubble. You have to see it to really understand it. They are literally treated like royalty.

Ayotte and others who come to Washington soon see themselves as special, empowered to make decisions for the rest of us. They no longer feel that they are exposed to life’s vagaries like the rest of the “little people.”

The general term for this phenomena is Potomac Fever. Those who come to Washington settle in to a priviledged life and never want to leave. Its good to be a Denizen of DC.

Lamar is in on the scam, it is not in his interest to upset the apple cart.

The same Lamar that:
Voted for TARP
Voted to confirm Eric Holder
Voted to confirm Sonia Sotomayor
Is doing everything he can to have internet purchases taxed
Hates coal

Is the same Lamar that:

Be ready for the next go-around surrender in January.

There, fixed it for you.

Far as I'm concerned, the entire Republican Party can go F itself. Worthless, spineless bastards who lack any sense of conviction or moral clarity.

I've no use for them, I've no use for Washington DC, and I've no use for the local politicians that infest the HELL HOLE state I live in.

F the entire system. I refuse to vote in such a corrupt system that REFUSES to represent the will of the voters.

The whole Government at the Federal, State, County and Municipal level AND EVERYONE WHO "WORKS" IN IT can kiss my ass.

What do you mean by “we, the GOP”? AFAICS, this is not a GOP site exclusively although there is a GOP Club forum.

Exactly! That is a fundamental aspect of the economic disaster we find ourselves in. The government can keep on spending because the Fed will print the money.

Please continue to post these to FR for our reference. This is just one answer to our immediate future. The major effort
needs to as well be the Liberty Amendments, one of which is the repeal of the 17th Amendment which stopped the election of Senators by state legislators and allowed the entry of out of state interests and money to influence our Senator elections.

Well that behavior has been failing for 80 years. Don’t you think maybe if someone wants you, your supporters and your ideology dead... that maybe you should man up and start fighting back... even in self defense?

I 100% agree with you on the last part, about winning elections.

To win elections, we must be supportive of American jobs.

Bring back American jobs.

The two are the beginning. Along with Palin.

The faint glimmer of hope lives in a few strong and principled people like Cruz, Lee, Palin, Paul and Gohmert. There are some others as well but they are the foundation IMO.

FWIW, we did win the last election. The HOR did just fine for the Republicans. If we had Romney in the WH, do you think there's any way the 'pubs would've become the party opposed to Obamacare?

Keep in mind Obamacare is Romneycare. It works through insurance choices in individual states, just like Romneycare works in MA.

No, WE didn't lose the last election. RINOs did. And you know what? Even more RINOs will lose this time. And I'm all for that.
