RUSH: I want to go back to the lady on the phone who says this doesnt feel right. Whats happening here to the country just doesnt feel right. You know whats happened here? You know what this feels like, folks? Ill tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isnt close. It feels like weve lost a war to a communist country. Its almost like theres been a coup. Theres been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. Were getting policies and implementations and things that were never, ever part of this countrys design and founding. (via Daily Rushbo)

Only an ignoramous would give ammo like that to the Democrats.

So true! 2014 is not going to destroy what has been in the works for decades.

I’m afraid its the war.
The House went to the mat and are now suing for mercy. Instead of hanging together and FORCING all manner of havoc, they are pleading to be left alive. But they got nothing.
Just wait: next is the capitulation of so called immigration “reform” and its truly all over.
I’m with t he other poster: please secede, Tx or anybody else for that matter.

Never Again is here and now. If anyone doubts it, wait until you face an Obama Death Panel supported by Congress.

Revolt Collapse is coming.
Do you doubt it now? This government spending isn't sustainable and it's already destroying the economy. It ain't going to be pretty when EBT cards are maxed forever.

I’m with you. The ones fighting are mostly those elected in 2010. We need to send reinforcements. A setback..yes..but it shows that the people behind those newer elected are much stronger and growing in numbers. They keep on underestimating....both sides do.

Would it surprise you that they will very much end up just “printing” more money.

If Texas made a move, I have no doubt that other states would follow suit. Oklahoma, for one. Set the brushfires of freedom.

I wish I was as confident as you.
Today's election in NJ will tell us a lot. Even though it is only a single Senate seat, the implications are massive. A loss of 5 points or less, and I will be very confident, at least in terms of purging establishment Republicans and electing people willing to participate in opposition. A loss of 12 points or more, and I will share your lack of confidence.

Like other watershed moments in history, I will not forget where I was and what I was doing when I heard Rush speak about a coup.
I had just gotten back in the car from a dental appointment.
Dental appointment = ordinary, mundane event.
The dems/Obama winning; the reps caving = a blow to the gut.
Ted Cruz = our blessing.
Harry Reid/ B. Hussein O. = our curse.

I don't see how that is BS. He gives the GOPe a vague mention during this clip, but that is usually about as far as it goes with Rush. I like Rush and listen to him fairly often. He is correct that Obama and the Democrats are the main problem, but he mostly acts kind of bewildered at the wimpiness of the GOP. I think he is finding out what the rest of us conservatives have already found out, that the GOPe could care less what Rush and his listeners think.

I have no plans to surrender. We need more people to fight with the ones we have in Washington. I guarantee you it did not go unnoticed that this wasn’t the usual capitulation. It was fought on principle and many could care less what the polls or msm said. Keep fighting with the good guys and stop acting like the RINOs.
This post wasn’t meant for anyone in particular. Just my opinion on how to go forward. The GOP has never been more conservative. Lets make it moreso in 2014.
