Limbaugh: It Feels Like We've Lost A War To A Communist Country
Real Clear Politics ^ | 10/16/13 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 10/16/2013 10:07:32 AM PDT by Nachum

RUSH: I want to go back to the lady on the phone who says this doesn’t feel right. What’s happening here to the country just doesn’t feel right. You know what’s happened here? You know what this feels like, folks? I’ll tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isn’t close. It feels like we’ve lost a war to a communist country. It’s almost like there’s been a coup. There’s been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. We’re getting policies and implementations and things that were never, ever part of this country’s design and founding. (via Daily Rushbo)

It’s Hitler all over again. People need to read their history. The government is and is taking courses on how to destroy our country.

Yes they are, but the one and only thing that will stop them from achieving their ultimate aim, is the armed American populace.

They'll have to take our guns if they want to fully realize their Communist dreams. Personally, I think it'll come to revolution before they accomplish that.

The United States of America was a wonderful country. I will miss her dearly.

many could couldn't care less

Doggone it, I know we're all fit to be tied, but can we at least speak English while we're hurling verbal bombs at the GOP-e?

I look at what happened today is really the end of the GOP as we know of, look for the Tea Party movement to gain strength.

I agree with that.

History will mark, that on this day, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell surrendered to darkness, just when the momentum to restore the light to our beloved country was at its greatest strength.

They and their cronies now join Benedict Arnold in infamy.

“Dear Texas, Please secede. I’ll move there immediately.”

ALSO, not enough natural resources...

Friend, Texas is one of the few states in the (alleged) union that is fully capable of being self-sustaining. As a Freeper, I would think you'd know that.

I understand Greg Abbot (running for Texas Governor) has a back up plan for seceding, just in case.

Interesting, and not at all surprising. Greg Abbott is a patriot on par with Cruz, Palin, and Levin.

Barring some truly deal breaking revelation about him, he's got my vote for Governor.

All the Marxists need to do to get cooperation from Texas is to turn the power off in the summer for a couple of days.

No can do. There are three power grids in the U.S. The Western Grid, the Eastern Grid, and the Texas Grid.

If the feds want a war, they can try to come in here and pull the plug.

I think the idea is that we hijack the primary process from the elites.

If Texans really are going to do anything, then why not just go and do it already? Like what are you waiting for?

People have limits. As bad as current events and conditions are now, they haven't yet reached the point of ignition.

It's going to take some singular event that pushes the people over the edge before you see any state do something as drastic as secede from the union.

We're getting there.

SHeepers

Good descriptor for the spineless, defeatist surrender monkeys I see posting their demoralizing drivel on FR day and night.

If I had my druthers, such talk would be a zotting offense.

Secession would be pointless unless we expelled half the people in this purple state.

Step 1. Pass Articles of Secession and deliver them to the U.S. Congress.

Step 2. Begin the process of expelling any and all malcontents whose political ideology conflicts with the U.S. Constitution, as written.

Step 3. Invite other like-minded red states to join the real American union.

Step 4. Admit other like-minded red states to the real American union, providing they follow the Texas example per # 2 above.

Step 5. Maintain this separation until the predictable collapse of the blue union states causes them to come begging for reconciliation and reunification, at which point we re-establish the American union envisioned by the Framers.

The only reason Texas will secede is to join Mexico.

Why the slap in the face, neighbor?

No slap intended. It’s just the way things are demographic wise. Unfortunate, since Texas with its strong economy, abundant resources, large population, and the fact it is not landlocked would be a prime candidate to lead the red states in the creation of a more perfect union than the one we have now.

We may have the second largest population of illegal aliens in the country (next to California), but traditional, conservative American voters still control the direction of this state.

If things came to a head in this country and Texas went its own way, we would NOT be rejoining Mexico under any circumstances. In fact, one of the first orders of business would be the ejection of the liberal left and the illegals from Texas.

Many well known business people and economists are currently predicting 2-3 years. Hope you're right and they're wrong, but I'll be planning for it to occur much sooner than after five decades. :-)

Actually, I hope you are right and I am wrong. Because the sooner this happens, the better off we will be to re-build. The Soviets faked their economy by monetary manipulation, fuzzy math and cooked books. It took 50 years before they actually couldn't write a check to somebody.

Right now we are printing money like mad and manipulating currency through interest rates and such. We are cooking the books on everything from unemployment to GDP. We're only just getting started in this next phase of America. Our government can hide lots of stuff from us now. They control us. They can play these games and milk our economy to stay in power right up until a social security check is NO GOOD! If it takes 50 years, like the soviet union, we won't have a strong base of capitalists to jump in and re-invigorate an economy. They'll all be long dead by a generation and we'll have a nation of dead-beat entitlement enablers. America will have squandered our legacy by then and we'll never have any hope of regaining the pride and vigor that built this nation. By then, there will be nothing to fight for. The very definition of Freedom is changing by the day now. In 50 years we won't even remember what freedom once was and our nations history will be outlawed as contraband propaganda. AND WE'LL VOTE FOR IT ALL IN THE NAME OF SECURITY.

So yea! I hope for a collapse soon while those American innovators and patriots are still alive with energy and vigor. We have to hope it happens while John Gault(s) are still among us.

If secession is successful, Texas can write it's own laws to deal with that. And many nations have successfully dealt with these issues without genocide or refugee camps.

We're headed toward a worldwide inflationary depression the likes of which no one has ever seen. Along with financial troubles, other convergences are taking place in regards to technology, conflict, politics, religion, population, prophecy, and etc. All seem to be coming to a head in our near future.

Economist John Williams says the U.S. budget and debt ceiling circus is not the real problem. Williams contends, “The issue here, very simply, is the long term solvency of the United States of America. . . This gap based deficit is going to kill us . . . We are going to be in very serious trouble in this next year, and the global markets know this is happening.” Williams goes on to explain, “They are not going to address the long term solvency problems of the United States. That’s going to trigger a massive decline in the dollar in the not-too-distant future, and that, in turn, will give us the early stages of hyperinflation in this next year.” Williams says, “We’re basically at a point where we can’t kick the can down the road. This is it. . . . Going forward from here, you’re going to generally see a weaker dollar, and it will get much weaker. You’re going to have a dollar panic, but I can’t give you the exact timing on that.” Another potential problem is a credit downgrade of U.S. debt. Williams says, “If we get a downgrade here, that would accelerate the process of the dollar selling and moving us again into the early stages of hyperinflation.” Williams says you can protect your wealth by holding hard assets. Williams goes on to say, “If your assets are denominated in dollars and Treasury bonds, those will become worthless in hyperinflation.”

This is why I hope you are right! :-)

The big coup really happened when LBJ helped out in murdering JFK who was cutting taxes with all his other faults. Then the government accelerated the destruction and spoiling of the poor and especially blacks...gaining much control. Been uphill since then...they got away with it.
