“When people finally see the Cluster-you-know-what that ObamaCare is, they will remember the Cruz was the only one with the guts to fight it.”
NO, THEY WON’T....
They will be told at every turn how GREAT! it is by the TV.
Every time they look at the tweets on the cell phone they will see celebrities telling them how great it is.
They will be told any problems THEY have with it just figments of their imagination, and that only CRAZY PEOPLE (or evil Christians) think it’s bad.
Study history. All of this has happened before...
What you said.

Well, yes, sort of. But we are not an exact replica of all nations that have gone before us, and eventually even the most brainwashed among us will find the cognitive dissonance to be quite loud and annoying. People will look at their own situation and realize it doesn't match the propaganda. For some this will mean a deepening psychosis, for others, liberation. Collectivist tyrannies must always ultimately fail because reality doesn't lie. You really can't stop the signal.
Yuri Bezmenov said that the only way that demoralized people will see the truth is when the boot hits them right in the butt. People are willing to overlook other people’s pain but when it’s their own they wake up. Typically, the balancing act that totalitarian regimes have to do is to kill the newly-awake people before they can organize into a resistance force.
I believe the time now is critical. People will be seeing what is real with their own eyes, at the same time as they hear Baghdad Bob telling them that the Iraqi army is routing the invaders and has secured Baghdad International Airport. The biggest enemy we have faced in all of this is the media. We have to break the media if we are going to ever have this country back - if we are ever going to have people rather than zombies deciding the fate of the country.
My heart is tired. I had hoped it would be different this time. But giving up is not an option. Somehow we need to break the lying media. I don’t know how best to do that. Kristinn, do you have any thoughts about that?
