He just said in his speech that the Washington architects said he could never win. However, it was a lot closer than they expected. Maybe they should have offered their support and he would have won.

They should have supported him. My senator Cornyn will be hearing from me about this. That bastard has some things to do with supporting national candidates, and he always chooses poorly.

I guess the architects were right. He lost by two touchdowns instead of four is not something to dance in the endzone about. Maybe if we learn to communicate our ideals in an upbeat and positive way instead of snarling at the rest of the country we might win some games. Nothing wrong with the ideals we support, our problem is the messaging. It never helps to win elections when a very large segment of the electorate thinks you are nuts. I know its unfair, but its reality, no matter why.
