Weve written extensively of late regarding the widening divide between fiscally conservative Republicans and the neoconservative fiscally liberal wing of the party led by U.S. Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham and John Cornyn.
In fact according to the website Mississippi PEP, theyve censured him.
For those of you unfamiliar with this aging RINO, Cochran is one of several Southern Republicans who habitually caves to U.S. President Barack Obama and congressional Democrats (along with Graham, North Carolinas Richard Burr, Tennessees Lamar Alexander and Georgias Johnny Isakson).
When any official continues to engage repeatedly in a course of conduct that violates fundamental principles of the Mississippi Republican Platform, even after such actions have been publicly called to his attention, it is the responsibility of all Republicans, including this body, to take such remedial measures as are reasonably available to them, a censure resolution against Cochran reads.
Item one on the resolution?
Cochrans cowardly vote last month enabling Democrats in the U.S. Senate to pass a spending plan which included funding for Obamacare.

We don’t have a candidate yet is the depressing thing. Cochran has yet to announce if he’s retiring or not (hope he does).
Mississippi, you don’t need to imitate Tennessee. Deep red states deserve hardcore conservatives. Not squishes.
My MS friends on Facebook are fed up with him. Hope he loses if he runs again.
Half of the republican party is just a bunch of democrats in drag, and they don’t even care if they show it anymore. One party rule is the name of the game now, and any opposition to new paradigm will be crushed. See the political lynching of Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz, and the TEA party as an example.
No one will run against him, but he has gotten his last vote from me.
It’s the attitude of the Senate. A few members from both sides can make a gang and decide what gets passed on their own with no accountability. They’re easily bought off and have no loyalty to their constituents or their campaign promises. That’s what this constitutional crisis is really about.
If you are on FaceBook, friend him. He's exactly what Mississippi needs in DC.
Get my nephew in law to run against him

Thanks for the info. Bad Thad needs to go.
Cornyn is a Karl Rove butt boy and is on the political chopping block right now. Primary opponents are meeting as we speak. Texans LOVE CRUZ!!! and PERRY!! I think Perry may run for Cornyn’s seat!!

Mississippi conservatives should find a good primary opponent before the Mississippi establishment RINOs find one of their own.
If you:
Think like a Democrat
Talk like a Democrat
Agree with Democrats
VOTE like a Democrat
And hang out with Democrats
Why don’t you just admit you ARE a democrat and get it over with? What is your possible reason for continuing to call yourself a Republican?
This Thursday, October 17, during the lunch hour (12:00 noon) at the Ellisville Courthouse, I will be making an announcement (one way or the other) regarding my political future.
Please come join us, and please free to SHARE with friends.
Posted on Chris McDaniel's FaceBook page. Looks like he may be running!!
I would rather have GOHMERT also, however PERRY would be a sure
win. He is a great governor, he has some faults for sure but he is far more conservative than the RINO there now!!!
Interesting!
I’m totally behind him if he jumps in
