We’d booked a pro-gun author called John R Lott, whose book is More Guns, Less Crime. “He fired over 100 rounds and killed 20 children,” I told him. “Twenty children! At what point do you gun lobby guys say: ‘We get it. It’s time for change’?”
“Right, it is time,” he replied, to my astonishment.
“Time to do what?”
“To get rid of some of these gun laws that cause –”
“To get rid of gun laws?”
He nodded. “Look at what has happened. All these attacks this year have occurred where guns are banned. Look at the Aurora movie theatre shooting …”
Unbelievable. This clown had actually come on my show on the night of this dreadful atrocity to advocate getting rid of existing gun control laws? I stared at Lott, who has weird pointy bushy eyebrows, and a permanent sneery half-smirk on his face. I wanted to reach across the desk and slap it off him.
Piers needs to bone up on his Spades playing capability.

Piers has written a book and thinks someone will buy it? As Piers said, and this is right back to Piers, “You are really stupid, aren’t you?”
Piers, Piers, Piers... I know this is going to be difficult, maybe even physically painful, but stop and think for a moment. Every single mass shooting incident in America (except one?) in the last 30+ years has occurred in a so-called "gun free" zone where firearms were banned or severely restricted. Given that simple, irrefutable fact - that "gun control" laws only impede the law abiding (and people bent on committing mass murder are most assuredly not law abiding) - you have to admit that "gun control" laws past and present are an utter, abject failure. Further, a moments consideration and a modicum of common sense tells us they will never work, never achieve their stated objective of improving public safety. The lawless will always have access to firearms and weapons. Disarming law abiding victims does not improve public safety, it reduces it. The only people you're protecting Piers are the violent criminals. What is wrong with you? Seriously, what is wired wrong in your head?
How many more defenseless victims must die Piers before you stop advocating disarming them in the face of the lawless?

Pitiful will sell a lot of his books to public libraries and colleges since he is a leftwing presstitute.
