Veterans from every branch of the military have a message for our government. The message will be delivered in person at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13, in Washington, D.C. and at war memorials all across the nation.
The Million Vet March on the Memorials is a grassroots movement started by five military brats, a term used to describe children of military members, to honor the nation's veterans.

How about veterans marching on the White House and demanding that the VA be funded, to included payment of VA disability to millions of veterans. No vet will get one cent in disability payments if this “govt shutdown” is not over by the end of the month. The bill to fully fund the VA sits on Harry Reid’s and he will not bring up to a vote in the senate because he knows the senate would fund the VA, exactly like the House funded the VA last week. Reid figures funding welfare cases and providing them free cell phones is more important than providing for veterans. Reid is a Vietnam draft-dodging POS of the first degree. He wants vets to roll over and die and quit bothering him. The military-hating Obama democrats are about as useless as a warm bucket of spit.

Glad to see some trucks showed up. I was at the Hagerstown Pilot late Fri nite. No one knew anything. Stopped again Sat afternoon, the same story. They knew something was supposed to happen but no particulars. Sun morning I was delivering in Laurel, MD. (third trip) I got close enough to Jessup truck stop to ask on the radio about it. One guy said he heard that they were meeting at exit 98 but didn’t know what road. The only exit 98 I knew is Doswell, VA. 80 miles south of DC. So I just headed home. Really a rainy dreary weekend. But I support all who made it!!!!

I see it the same way...and it’s going to take time for people to digest these happenings. There will be more of this as well.
I think Congress and Obam will come to some agreement before the nation explodes however...for Obama it has to be a ‘contained’ explosion.

Organizing for Action (OFC) Obamas lackies..planning March ‘against the TEA Party’ on Tuesday in DC....last time they tried to do this nobody showed up!

The tea party had its protest Sunday at the World War II Memorial, now President Barack Obama’s supporters are set to respond at the Capitol.
Organizing for Action is holding a “Budget shutdown Day of Action event” at noon Tuesday at the reflecting pool west of the Capitol.
“Tuesday is the start of the third week of the government shutdown,” OFA wrote in a message to supporters. “With every day that passes, these members of Congress need to feel more pressure from the constituents who sent them to Washington. Millions of Americans across the country are feeling the effects of the shutdown — and it’s only getting worse.”
OFA executive director Jon Carson tweeted Monday urging supporters to ....“Come join OFA at an event tomorrow to say EnoughAlready to the TeaPartyShutdown.
