Years ago a very famous actress, while wearing a ton of makeup, a pushup bra, and a Henna’d perm, was quoted as saying she hates to see a guy with his hair blow-dried. She said men should be all natural......

As a guy, the way I look at it, is if a gal gets a boost in confidence from using makeup then go for it. Just like the clothes make the man feel more confident. A little makeup can help in the feedback one receives, to help them in dealing with others. (However, I hate perfume on gals, can’t take the fumes.)
False advertising. Too bad you can’t get a car fax type report for your prospective mate.
Those pics pretty much prove that at least in some cases, use of makeup should be prosecutable as false advertising.
Appears to have been some dieting between photos - along with airbrush, spackle, CGI, Earl Scheib, and possibly George Lucas.

Very few women wear the right amount of make-up. It’s supposed to enhance, not make you look as if you’re wearing a mask. The commenters who have said a smile would go a long way... I agree, bingo. She’d look just fine in the first picture if she was smiling.
No harm in a little makeup, but she looks so angry and resentful that neither picture is attractive.
A little powder on that shiny face certainly doesn’t hurt. No need to go overboard.
And a cheerful smile of good will, maybe.
It doesn’t take much make up to make a HUGE difference, especially eye make up. Too much make up OTOH is a HUGE turn off.
Smart women wear makeup to their advantage.. Smart men see the difference..
