Sen. Ted Cruz confronted President Barack Obama over his health care law during a meeting at the White House Friday attended by dozens of GOP senators.
Cruz told Obama that any deal to reopen the government must also provide relief for those negatively affected by Obamacare. In a long gaggle with reporters, Cruz did not use the word defund to describe his aspirations for changes to the health care law, but said he wants substantial changes.
I told the president exactly the same thing I have told you here today: That we need to work together and fund the government and at the same time provide substantial relief to the millions of people who are hurting because of Obamacare, who are losing their jobs, being forced into part-time work and losing their health insurance, Cruz said. If the outcome doesnt impact people who are struggling, who are hurting because of Obamacare, then I dont think it would be a good outcome.

If that happened Cruz would be banished to the cornfield.... Literally.
Too bad Cruz couldn’t slap some sense into the jug-eared scumbag...
All the rest of the republicans hide behind Cruz occasionally peaking around him to get a look at Nero. When Cruz was done someone wimpered me too. At first it a was assumed it was either McCain or Graham but that was later proven false because at the time they were busy washing Neros feet.
FRiend, It’s not his feet they are washing.
Back here on the homestead, it’s been a bumper crop year for nuts. Looks like it’s been the same in Ted Cruz’ state.
You go, Man! Stay the course and I will work my tail off for a candidate like you!
Thank you very much!
Obama’s victory is sure to be a Pyrrhic victory. Obamacare is turning out worse than even the opponents feared it to be. Obscenely high premiums so the employed are brought down making it the largest tax increase of all time. Death panels withholding treatment for more than just the elderly. Doctors being driven into retirement or financially savaged. A system so complicated that no one understands it. All the efforts of the MSM won’t be able to hide the truth.
In his speech early today saw what appeared to be a little bit of Bob Hope type humor and mannerisms. Ronald Reagan with a developing Bob Hope stage presence ? Time will tell.
Everybody knows now that conservatives were right about Obamacare. That means some trust has been established.
Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
You know you may be right. Why? Because Cruz is someone whom one can trust and has the balls. Unlike the others who are hiding behind Cruz’s trying to take a peek and trying to steal Cruz’s thunder. It does sound Obama is afraid and the question is why?
add me to the Cruz list too, please

Done!
Cruz can expect a visit from the IRS. He should also take care in what he says on the phone and in e-mails. This is no longer a free country.
If that happened Cruz would be banished to the cornfield.... Literally.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
By whom?
Cruz has his back protected by thousands of conservative Texans, who understand that Obama is a fascist. Once mostly everyone understands this fact, Obama is a goner.
Obama is busy proving to everyone that he indeed is the first nationalist socialist president of the United States.
And he will be the last one.
Cruz is just helping Obama expose himself for who he really is and that Obama is dedicated to the destruction of the Constitution and our nation.
Cruz has no worry about being banished, he has to worry about being assassinated.Cruz is a very brave man.

That is exactly what I was trying to say. I have no idea what you thought I meant other than that.
The cornfield analogy comes from an old twilight zone episode where people who were put in the cornfield were indeed disappeared forever and very much dead.
I was trying to say that if anyone tries to release the "goods" on Obama they very well might just end up in the cornfield.
Sorry that you took my analogy of being "banished" so literally.
Barry is still wet-dream fantasizing about how he should've said this or that to put Cruz in his place. He's probably snapping at Moochelle and kicking the dog. Deep inside, he is mad as hell because he knows he could never lock horns with Ted Cruz and survive to tell about it.
Sorry , I thought you meant politically banished.
I did not apprehend youir intimated meaning, and I agree with it.
I hope Cruz has good security, he is effective at circumventing the MSM and the little fascist media running dogs Obama has dispatched to all of the talk shows. This puts Cruz in personal danger, the more effective he becomes.
They will try to defame Cruz just like they did to Sarah Palin. That will not work either.
So true.
