The Modern American Revolution - Truckers ride on DC

This month ALL Americans have an opportunity to participate in a nationwide protest.

None of us can ever say we couldn't do anything to make a difference because there is an option available to EVERYONE. On Friday, October 11th through Su...nday, October 13th, American truckers are planning an event called, Truckers Ride For The Constitution. Thousands of truckers plan on driving their rigs to Washington DC to shut down the city with a ‘super sized’ traffic jam. Others are planning to do the same at their state capitols. Many truckers can’t take off to Washington DC, but they have refused to haul anything during this pivotal 3 days. There will be no gas delivered to stations, groceries delivered to the local grocery store, and myriad of other products won’t be delivered if it depends on an 18 wheeler.

What can you do to help? After all, you don’t drive a truck. There are 10 things most of us can do. You can do what millions of others plan to do from Friday through Sunday night.

1. If you live close to an interstate rest stop: Take your grill out and feed these hungry trucker Patriots!! Let them know they have your support and good wishes. The Modern American Revolution will be out in full-swing this weekend with their grills a'blazing.

2. Find your closest Overpasses for Obama's Impeachment group and go hold a sign up to encourage the truckers. If you can’t physically go to an overpass, help someone who can by helping make signs and gather flags for others to hold up.

3. Drive with your lights on in solidarity with the truckers and honk, wave and smile at them as they pass you.

4. Fly your flag at home.

5. Put signs in your yard.

6. Post encouraging memes etc. on Facebook.

7. Wear red, white, and blue.

8. Call and/or email your representatives in Washington and let them know that a few thousand of your closest friends are headed their way to deliver a message from you.

9. You can show your solidarity with the truckers by refusing to spend any money on those days. None, zilch. Don’t participate in any commerce at all. Fill up your car with gas on October 9th. Buy your groceries, pay your bills, get cash out of the bank, and stock up on needed supplies beforehand. Just don’t buy anything at all during this important revolt.

10. As always, take pictures and film everything possible and post to Facebook and YouTube...if the MSM won't cover this peaceful political action, We Will!

If you are unwilling to do any of these things, you are siding with the enemies of our Constitution, whether intentionally or not. This protest can be highly successful if we all participate. The revenue lost in taxes alone will get their attention even if they try to ignore the thousands of trucks tooling around the city.

So, you’re all for something deadly happening, huh? Make it nicely more inconvenient, won’t it? And thus bring Congress to its knees?

I can’t believe no one has called you on this.

This potential, along with the massive inconvenience to regular people far away from the actual government, causes me much misgiving on this plan.

Of course not.
I merely stated a FACT.
I probably should have ‘bracketed’ it but I was trying to point out that FEWER trucks, well placed would cause more ‘grief’ since an accident as I described does exactly as I described it.
At 739 this AM, the WashPost reported an overturned tractor trailer shut down ALL LANES of 495 @ Landover Rd. MDSP unsure HOW LONG BEFORE OPENED UP.
In the same ‘Alert’, they cite an accident on Balt/Wash Pkwy@175 with SOUTBOUND lanes are bumper to bumper and UNKNOWN how long before open - saying several hours.
ONE (if not both) of these was still going on at NOON, saying it happened at 4AM.

I am NOT sure, but I thought that the truckers had planned this BEFORE the shutdown.

‘They’ allowed the Immigration thing to go on because it was pre planned...we shall see....

And you are correct, it inconveniences the ‘wrong people’ but I think the original plan involved circling the Capitol and White House but they probably scrapped that ‘bad’ idea giving the present circumstances.

If you get 20-30(ea) rigs to hit the Beltway in both directions from 95 S in Md and N in VA, just doing the speed limit can/will tie the area up for hours and if they are doing the speed limit and staying out of the left lane they ‘just happen to be there’ and not exiting....
