Positive signs for first rejiggered Fox News primetime lineup in more than a decade
Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File” handily beat rivals in total viewers, an auspicious start for the network’s first new primetime program in more than a decade, as well as its host, Megyn Kelly.
According to early Nielsen totals, Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File” lured nearly 2.1 million viewers between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m,. Monday evening, compared with 997,466 for MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show” and 529,946 for CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight.” The figures could change slightly.
MSNBC’s “Maddow” secured more viewers among audiences between 25 and 54 years of age, the demographic most coveted by advertisers in news programming. “Maddow” attracted 298,543 in the demo, according to Nielsen, compared with 289,264 for “Kelly” and 144,602 for “Piers Morgan.” Ad buyers have said they have come to expect the largest viewership for cable news from Fox News Channel.

She does a good job, and I think this will improve Fox’s primetime ratings even more. It matters not what her personal ideology is, she is a news anchor, not a spiritual guide. I don’t need FNC to tell me how and what to think.

Outstanding show tonight. She had this documentary filmmaker on, showing the disgusting scene on the mall today with Pelosi making her way across the mail to the immigration rally and then lying to the crowd as she thanked Obama for opening access to the WWII memorial - total lie from a sickening politician. The whole detailed story on the DoD refusing money to the families of the veterans killed this past weekend is a timebomb. Ollie North was very powerful. The money can be allocated by the President - does not need an act of Congress!
The filmmaker was very passionate and believes the Americans are preparing to march on Washington. Learned quite a bit on this show.
I sure won’t excuse her rudeness to Cruz. Cruz did handle her well. You bet, I’ll send her a note.

Now doing the truckers beltway shutdown. The truckers spokesperson says it can be avoided if the president resigns. Gotta tell you all, if she was left wing last night, wellllll....tonight her show has the founding fathers laughing in their graves.

Do drop her a note and I think FOX needs to hear from us too. They are not infallible and when they become just another channel on our TV sets, it’s time to drop them all.

After my sounding off about her tonight, I just might have to catch the rerun at 11 or 12 ET - not sure. AND she just might have gotten some mail like mine that told her what we thought of last night’s show.
Even in her 1-3 slot before her maternity leave, she was beginning to sound more and more like Nancy Grace - very dramatic which made me reach for the remote.
The color is good I just don’t like the top it looks like a bra or lingerie to me.
I won’t be wasting my time on any more of this rubbish. I guess she thinks attacking Cruz and Tea Party efforts will make he even more acceptable to the beltway swells.

Last night, Megyn brought up the "hated man" comment, obviously that item did not poll or email well. I'll give her a few more chances, but I'm not going to watch leftwing crap. I refuse too.

That was pretty much the first statement Lynch made to MK last night. He told her he listened to her first show and heard her refer to Cruz as “the most hated man in America”. He went on, Cruz needs to keep doing what he is doing and stand his ground, he is doing the right thing”. (Paraphrasing). He hung a pretty big matzo ball out there and she had no choice but to clarify the comment.
