Earl Conlon, a Georgia trucker who is handling logistics for the protest, told U.S. News tractor-trailer drivers will circle the beltway "three lanes deep" as he rides with other participants to Congress to seek the arrest of congressmen for allegedly disregarding the Constitution. "We want these people arrested, and we're coming in with the grand jury to do it," he said. "We are going to ask the law enforcement to uphold their constitutional oath and make these arrests. If they refuse to do it, by the power of the people of the United States and the people's grand jury, they don't want to do it, we will. ... We the people will find a way."

I’d like to know who came up with the leftard fantasy of arresting congressmen.
Have you ever driven the beltway? Sometimes during the day 5 MPH is considered making good time......
I’m looking forward to this... like a youngster looks forward to Christmas morning!
Its getting Series ...
Ah, geebus. Not that Citizens’ Grand Jury horsesh*t again. There ain’t no such thang.
Better have several million to assist because every 3 letter agency with any jurisdiction is already laying strategies on how to deal with tihs situation per orders of The King. Advice to strategists; don’t broadcast your plans beforehand unless its a diversion. Expect heavy resistance with whatever means necessary. Assessing the enemy’s strengths and weaknesses and maneuvers beforehand is crucial to any mission’s success regardless of who’s butting heads. A battering ram approach us usually not very successful on a fortified castle. I would bring along a film crew to document everything that is detached apart from the group and disguised as regular tourists ready to put up any footage displaying excessive force online... : )
Kind of a conundrum as to playing into Bammy's hands or f'n him.
If it works - let’s all buy a Peterbilt or reasonable facsimile and open all the parks and monuments.
Congress leaves town every thursday afternoon.
There’s never a vote on mondays
There’s never a vote on friday.
Under normal times, anyway.
Reminds me of Gomer Pyle on Andy: “citizens array-yest....citizens array-yest....citizens array-yest....”
Jamming the roads around the Spite House and Congressional buildings would also be entertaining.
Also jamming the roads around Reagan, BWI and Dulles Thurs and Fri during the 'critter exodus could be entertaining also.
The GJ, arresting congressmen, sounds nice but it’s a bunch of baloney.
Now, seriously gumming up the city via non violent protest actions, that actually has potential. If it were to really happen.
More to my liking would be some sort of trucker’s strike that shuts down 75% of the perishable goods deliveries in the US for 3-4 days. Then you will see some serious hand ringing from the political classes. Along with a lot of hate speech and threats of violence which will be ignored by Holder, et al.
If the productive people that are getting screwed by ObamaCare go Galt all at once, it will truly be something to see. I still don’t see it happening, but then again, I am surprised at the degree of PR stupidity demonstrated by Obama right now, what with the memorials and parks being locked down. While issuing permits for illegals to gather and protest in the same area (the mall)? That needs to go viral in a big way.

It will not end well. I don’t think they’ve thought this one through. Any attempt like this will not only make them look reckless but definitely give the wrong imoression to the American people. 0 will probably put a security detail in place to deal with this percieved threat. The truckers have to realize that the Congressmen have families too. Sure some are slimeballs but not all of them are so its probably better to just use political activism to remove them from office. Hiever came up eith this idea obviously doesn’t have much of an idea of the type personnel they typically select to work on security details in DC, how much training and access to weaponry they have, and what type of resistance they will face. Personally most of the Secret Servicemen I’ve met have been pretty good guys with the exception of a few with a chip on their sholders. I don’t think they would enjoy shooting citizens and would only do it if there were no other options. IMO it would be better to make friends on the inside for use later. Harder to do and it takes time to cultivate the relationship but it sure pays better dividends in the long run...
Dingy in the back of a trailer for some street justice.
I’ll take “Stories the media won’t cover next week” for $800, Alex.
the Twitter feeds for the truckers are not allowing followers. Someone is trying to interfere with spreading the word. #T2SDA.
