In an interview with Politico, Senator Harry Reid argued that the media is being unfair to Democrats in its coverage of the shutdown. Reid said he believes that there is no way someone viewing the situation objectively could conclude that Democrats are at fault for the shutdown.
You and other journalists have a real shortcoming in that you are trying so hard to be fair that you are unfair,” Reid said. “Democrats have had almost nothing to do with the problems here. It’s all Republicans.”

Media Research Center, a conservative media-watchdog group, found that in 39 stories in the two weeks leading to the shutdown, CBS, ABC, and NBC blamed Republicans 21 times for failing to reach a budget agreement, both parties four times, and didn’t once blame the Democrats. In the 14 other instances, the reports blamed nobody.

This ploy is right out of the Clinton play book; demonize and blame the other side for the very thing you are doing, in this case, citing the MSM’s bias of the dems when even a moron knows the MSM refuses to report the truth about any dems, particularly Reid and Adolf Obozo.

Our local NBC station (weekend “anchor”) said the other night that the government continued to be shut down as a result of the actions by the Tea Party, who are trying to block the AFA, which allows people who could not get insurance in the past to purchase health insurance. That was the total report on the shut down, must have been Friday at 6 p.m.

Just saw a news segment in which they talked about ‘moderate Republicans’ being ‘squeezed’. How is that ‘trying hard to be fair’? How about calling them what they are - left-leaning Republicans.

Maybe Harry doesn't know how to turn on a TV or radio since he was born before either one of them were invented. Much too high tech for him. He tried listening a couple times, but couldn't stand to wait for the tubes to warm up. The catswhisker kept being jostled off the crystal...etc etc.
Besides, everyone knows that all the talk radio shows are filled with guys like they had on the spectacularly successful Air Amerika....
