An eastern Pennsylvania member of Congress is the only one from the states delegation to break party ranks in a dispute that's plunging the nation into a partial government shutdown.
U.S. Rep. Charles Dent voted late Monday night against Republican attempts to scale back President Barack Obamas signature health care law as the price to keep the federal government open and running.

Charlie thinks and votes like a “moderate” Republican. A “moderate” Republican is a nice way of describing someone who votes with Pelosi half of the time.
So far, no conservative challenger has stepped forward, to my knowledge. With PA’s early filing deadline, it will soon become less and less likely for a challenger to emerge. That being the case, we’re probably going to see Charlie get more and more comfortable running to the middle.
Who will challenge him, Lancey? Is there a conservative willing to take him on in the 15th? If there is, we need to boost him.
