Senate just came into session. Happily, Dingy Harry is sparing us any commentary early on this morning, as is McConnell. Debate goes until 12:10, at which time there is 30 minutes reserved for majority and minority leaders , then the vote. Will there be any more GOP intramural fireworks on the senate floor?

For what it’s worth, I called my Economic Illiterates For Obama Club members, Cardin and Mikulski. Cardin’s office said the calls were strongly against cloture (in Maryland). Big Government Babs phone rang once and hung up.

I too was one of those folks that voted for Romney. Never again. I left the Republican Party this past Monday

I believe the Republican party can be saved, Ted Cruz is why. If we fight and get more like him we can still be Republican and conservative. I detest the RINOs but our best chance of beating the socialists is if we can keep some form of the party together and I'm praying we can. No compromise on principles, a conservative takeover of the party
