Obama: GOP Scared Because They Know People Will Love Obamacare

President Obama: "And part of what I think the resistance that we've seen ramp up particularly over the last couple of months is all about is the opponents of health care reform know they're going to sign up. In fact, one of the major opponents, when asked, well, why is it that you'd potentially shut down the government at this point just to block Obamacare, he basically fessed up. He said, well, once consumers get hooked on having health insurance and subsidies, then they won't want to give it up. (Laughter.) I mean, that's you can look at the transcript. This is one of the major opponents of health care reform. It is an odd logic. Essentially they're saying people will like this thing too much and then it will be really hard to roll back."

once consumers get ***hooked*** on having health insurance and subsidies, then they won’t want to give it up.
He’s betting it will work like welfare but he’s never been right yet.

He said, well, once consumers get hooked on having health insurance and subsidies, then they won't want to give it up.
Unfortunately, Obama is actually right on this! Once a government handout is issued, it is sacrosanct and can NEVER be taken away!
As I have stated before, this is just like the Democrats do when the Republicans ask about cuts to welfare, alphabet agencies and stream lining Social Security. I can hear it now:
Republicans want children to starve! Republicans want dirty air and dirty water! Republicans want to throw grandma off a cliff! Republicans want to take away your health insurance!
If you don't think this is the end game for the socialists, I mean Democrats, then you are surely mistaken! This is about setting up a strawman which they get to knock down! This is about controlling the politics in America and turning us closer to full on Socialism! PERIOD! Obamacare is not about controlling healthcare costs; it is about controlling politics and the citizens!
I have one simple question: What good is having health insurance if no doctor will take it? Ask an elderly friend or poor family member about how hard it is to find a doctor who takes MedicAid or MediCare! You will be paying for a service with FEW (if any) "service providers" available!!

They won’t love paying for it and what it does to our economy. Obama sounds like a used car salesman trying to peddle his crap to the public.
He ‘s almost in the billionaire’s club and way out if touch with reality. This plan was put in place to gut the Constitution and invade our privacy on a level never seen before with us paying for it!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Surely this is from the Onion or MAD magazine!
Or maybe Obama has his own sitcom now.

Rand Paul had been on this list, but it looks like he has backed off. I believe that Rand has gone over to the Dark Side. He's now the heir apparent to the old guard establishment bulls.

How much more will an individual pay? If more than before, then that individual will notice it. That is when Conservatives need to remind people that Democrats and Obama forced it on them.
Many young, healthy people don't carry insurance. But now they will be forced to carry insurance and at what cost?
Also, also where is the money to for subsidies coming from? There might not be enough from the IRS penalty to make up the difference.
Does it come out of the general fund? Not good if it does because the subsidies could be huge and are not currently accounted for in the budget. New tax coming? Maybe they'll start taxing company provided benefits.

That is the most ridiculous thing he’s said on the subject yet. If the GOP thought people are going to “love it,” they’d be getting the heck out of the way.

Rand has veered to the left to try and stake an early claim for the middle of the road moderate vote.
Being an Always surrender before a fight Surrender Republican Federal Politician does have its disadvantages:
1.) You will never get elected to be POTUS;
2.) If you sit on the fence, the political splinters will get you;
3.) If you stay in the middle of the road, you will get run over.
What Rand is doing leads me to believe that Rand still believes in Big Tents, Old-Style Republican Cave-Ins, and making gut-wrenching concession speeches late on Election Night.
Reality: Dole (strike one), McCain (Strike two), Romney (STRIKE THREE!!!!!!!!!!).
West, Lee, Cruz, and maybe Palin are the POTUS contenders, the rest are pretenders.

The most worthless, arrogant POS to ever be allowed to address the American people. Hate, despise, loathe, abhor...
I'm out of words to describe my feelings towards this p-o-s in the White House. How he even got 10% of the vote much less elected and re-elected says something very frightening about voters.

On the other hand, Fox still attacking Ted Cruz and the defund effort right now.I wish someone would come forward and question why Obamacare needs funding anyway. We were told from the beginning that Obamacare would actually save money instead of cost money. So based upon what we were told, a continuing resolution without funding Obamacare would cost more than one that funded it. Yet we now know that not to be the case.
