For many Americans, Obamacare will be a test of their budgets and their tolerance for the health care overhaul.

That's because buying insurance through the health care exchanges will cost individuals "at least $2,988 a year on average" per person, Bloomberg notes.

Obamacrap will likely cost the family $40/day, $1200/month, $14k/year in round numbers.

"Straining family budgets" translates into suicides, divorces and children living in broken homes or foster care.

Never forget the goal is total surveillance, depopulation and enslavement.

This gets us a little bit closer. Every little bit helps.

I refuse to participate. I have a cash only doctor and if I need major medical then I will finance it like a car.

So far, I don’t know a single person getting Obama insurance. I won’t. Anybody? What are you hearing?

Remember the huge argument over continuing that FICA withholding ‘holiday’? Over ~$1-2K?

Neither do I.

I won’t comply and when the time comes, I’ll demand a Waiver.

I’m hearing that neighbors are starting to ask questions and one is going to a seminar Friday. Most all will be heavily subsidized or go into Expanded Medicaid. Some are older and already on Medicare so they won’t be affected as much. There are a couple of people with pre-existing conditions who were on and off coverage before and are hoping for something more stable. There are a couple of illegal adults who won’t be able to get coverage but pretty much everyone else will. I sure as hell don’t like the demons running it nor some of the required coverage but since we were already on a state program it isn’t that much different.

had my spousal unit and my premium go UP $200 total a month last year. Just got news that it will go UP again another 150 for 2014. Our monthly premium is now 1100 a month or 35% of our gross income.

We are pensioners on fixed incomes. (read that : our income has not gone up $350/month to match).

Yeah, it will hurt the family budget.

As the wife is Canadian, bugging out is how we may decide to hurt the US budget in return(were that so simple, that is)

DE-fund this atrocity until we can repeal it. If your Rep or Senator votes for it, give them hell every day until it is done away with.

Incrementalism. A fine old tradition, practiced by Socialists throughout the last century.

So far, I don’t know a single person getting Obama insurance. I won’t. Anybody? What are you hearing?

This man-made catastrophe hasn't been felt by the public yet. Michelle Malkin just posted about her recent personal experience.

Obama lied, my health plan died

Across the country, insurers are sending out Obamacare-induced health plan death notices to untold tens of thousands of other customers in the individual market. Twitter users are posting their Obamacare cancellation notices and accompanying rate increases:

[snip]

This isn't just partisan business. It's personal. Our cancellation letter states that Anthem is "not going to be selling new individual PPO plans." When we asked whether we could keep our children's doctors, an agent for Anthem told my husband and me she didn't know.

The insurer has no details available yet on what exactly they'll be offering. We either will be herded into the Obamacare federal health insurance exchange regime (launching October 1), a severely limited HMO plan, or presented with costlier alternatives from another insurer. If they even exist.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey, know what you get to ‘keep’ with Obamacare? Cancellation notices ["health-plan death notices"]
The responses are continuing to come in. Individual plans and group plans alike are proving that whole “you can keep your plan” thing was, as suspected, a lie. Further, if you are trying to obtain a new plan, don’t even bother applying.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A comment I posted earlier: ObamaCare is a man-made catastrophe that will personally affect every person in America. The full extent of its damage hasn’t even begun to be felt. When it is, America won’t forget the despots who created it and the quislings who have pretended to fight to defund it.

Whether or not you, I, or Malkin are forced to sign up for ObamaCare is beside the point. It will affect us all dearly in the end. At this point the deleterious ramifications are incalculable, but guarantee it will be far worse than we have been led to believe--- for all of us.
