I suggest licensing bow hunters to cruise in pickup trucks.
While I'm not into "package hunting trips", I'd love to spend a couple days in either Texas or Oklahoma with an outfitter hunting feral hogs..........

I suggest licensing bow hunters to cruise in pickup trucks. How about gangstas in lowriders. They need the target practice more.

During the 70s when I was a kid growing up in Montana any animal larger than a mouse was afraid to death of people. It was a rare occasion to see wildlife in town and when driving in the country coyotes would bolt for cover. They had this fear because the bold animal was a dead animal. While I appreciate the more abundant wildlife we have today feral pigs and other pests should be shot on sight.

Didn’t some of them mingle with Russian Boars that were imported in some areas during the old days?

Those of us that have been hunting and trapping hogs for a long time have an old saying, “Choot I’m In the face” If they ain’t looking at you then shoot them at the base of the ear. I could post pictures but it’s not pretty.

The good ole boys cleared out of Lithonia years ago and it has since gone to the dogs or hogs in this case.

If any of those got loose in GA or in the other 57 states...we are doomed. I hear they multiply at a tremendous rate.

Toombs County, Georgia: dogs and knives. No need for high cap anything.
Catch ‘em. Tie ‘em. Fatten ‘em up and flush out that crap flavor. Grill ‘em.

"Hog? 44 mag, min." I've done in many a hog with .22LR hollow points (farm boy, hogs in corn). The local Amish thought it was a good idea to cut our fences and let their porkers "root, hog, or die" in our cornfields.
They came, they rooted, and they died.

I’ve used both 44 mag and 22. Used a 22 for years, but one boar took 3 shots one time, so I decided to switch to the 44. They fold like a lawn chair with a single shot every time.

".22lr through the ear opening works every time." I wasn't that good a shot back in those days. Good, but not THAT good. But four or five lung shots always worked for me (semi-auto, no recoil). You could hear the return sound of the bullet making impact (sort of a "bang/whack").
