The final blow, I don’t say straw because this is such a blow, is when I heard Chris Wallace on the Sunday Shows. Wallace claimed that he had been overwhelmed with opposition research on Ted Cruz by his fellow Republicans.
Now, I know politics is dirty and that this is probably more common on both sides than we know. But for me it was the final blow. That fellow Republicans would savage a man who was attempting to stand up for the people who elected him, stand on principal, stand on conservatism like our last and greatest President did, knocked me to the ground.
I can no longer be a Republican.
I SO understand!
NOOOOOOooooo...you do NOT give up....YOU FIGHT....Like CRUZ, LEE, et al!
you do know Chris wallace and all the media maggots are registered democrat and they all donate to the democrat party.
Change your registration to ‘Independent’ .. it’s a small gesture perhaps, and sends but a small message, but it’s also a palpably cathartic sensation !
I know where you’re coming from. The final blow (or watershed moment) for me was seeing the GOP backstabbing of Palin. That did it for me. Tossed three decades of solid and devoted support for the Republican Party into the wastebasket.
I’ve had nothing but alienation and intense distrust towards the Party ever since. The attacks on Cruz are just a continuation of what led me to all this.
I am a Conservative, and I will vote for a Conservative like Sen. Ted Cruz. The word Republican will not cross my lips...they made their move, and I will make mine.
