Good point. The senators don’t care how we are affected. They’ve figured out how to game the system.
Cruz is now pointing out he hopes some democrats have the same courage as James Hoffa (Teamsters).
Sipping Martinis with the Dems
I wish more were supporting Cruz, and I hope they show up, but I think Rand Paul is the one guy who shouldn’t, unless it’s pretty limited. Otherwise, the story will become Cruz vs. Paul for Tea Party leadership, and that’s not what this is about. If anything, Paul contributed by making this tactic relevant. He could show up and give Cruz another talking break with a longish and staged question like he did earlier, but I don’t think he was in favor of proceeding like this to begin with.
Yes, the dems are perpetually indignant. They are so easy.
I love how Sen Cruz consistently challenges the Democrat senators a chance to be courageous and join him! Put it on them Ted!
Woo Hoo! We are making a difference!
Electric Tea Party!
“WHere are the rest of the Rs???”
They are filthy cowards!! All of them! Disgracia!!
Shame on them!! But watching the media its amazing how negative they are towards him. Shameful
Mike Lee up, again. He must be the only one with the guts and glory to be there for Cruz. God bless ‘em both.

I agree!!
Exactly. The entire GOP is a disgrace and tonight shows precisely why they can all go to hell.
Mike Lee is UP!
My 2016 picks for GOP/Tea Party Pres nominee!
1st. Ted Cruz
2nd. Mike Lee
3rd Sarah Palin
4th. Rand Paul
If I could tweet I would ask what will stop Obama from just waiving Congress’ lack of funding like he waived the prohibition on giving money to terrorists. What difference are laws anyway, when nobody can/will stop the lawlessness of the POTUS?
It’s probably too depressing to serve the purpose of the tweets, but for real I’m wondering how everybody can know it’s unlawful for Obama to put in waivers that are not allowed in the law, refuse to enforce parts of it, etc - basically legislate on his own - and yet nobody will do anything about it. How do we get back the rule of law?
We are watching the birth of a leader!

He got Axelrod’s attention tonight! lol!
post 2073 - Axelrod’s slight/compliment
And, thank God for Mike Lee!
I hope they have a plan for the night. I’d like for them to start reading the Obamacare bill.
I cede your point, I don’t like it per say, but I can understand that angle.
Glad Mike Lee is now up. This man is another who is amazing to me. Others should be there, shame on them for passing on this moment.
This is a moment, whether than are willing to acknowledge it or not, and no one who gives a damn about this country, will forget their absence.
You just noticed the elephant in the room, or, in this case,
not in the room.
