i find it hard to identify with a show that glorifies a drug dealer whilst trying to keep children off drugs. if you like this, then go ahead, but don’t tell me that you find meth unacceptable

I like ‘The Godfather’ so does that mean I can’t find the Mafia repugnant? I like Macbeth so does that mean I can’t find murder unacceptable?

The show hardly “glorifies” his life.

His life has been in a shambles ever since he started. I don’t think there is one happy person in the entire cast of characters.

He has ruined his life, his family’s and his close relatives’.

And it’s still a great show.

I wouldn't say it glorifies drugs. Everyone on the show is dysfunctional. All the families are dysfunctional. One (reasonably good) reason not to watch the show is that it is — despite occasional humor — quite dark and depressing. These are messed up people living sad and desperate lives.

It doesn’t glorify him at all. It shows his decline into evil and what happens when moral principles are abandoned.

Agree to a certain extent. Incidently, the most realistic show about drugs, meth, and the "drug lifestyle" is COPS. I also object to their dragging the name of one of the founders of quantum mechanics through the mud.

I think you are missing the point of the show. It does not glorify drugs or the people who make money off their sale.
If you watch it you will see it does just the opposite.
Even the title states this. It takes a character who is a well loved nice guy and makes him into a murdering monster, who only cares about the financial gain. It totally destroys his life and family. It is a modern day Greek tragedy similar to Oedipus Rex

I came across a forum the other day populated mostly by kids. The prevailing comments were ‘I didn’t know meth was so bad. It really opened my eyes.’

“i find it hard to identify with a show that glorifies a drug dealer whilst trying to keep children off drugs.”

It’s funny. The only people who think that BB glorifies drug dealers are the people who haven’t actually watched the show.
