I think the best analogy here is that almost all churches promote married reproduction, as well as the proper raising of children to have moral character.

This is the equivalent of wanting to have eggs without the chicken.
I agree. The subtlety in which it supposedly mocks religion is buried even deeper than Jimmy Hoffa.
