MADISON Some kindergartners, first-graders and second-graders in Madison public schools are apparently preparing for futures in either political cartooning or time on a psychiatrists couch.
Kati Walsh, an elementary art teacher at the Madison Metropolitan School District in July posted some of her students drawings of Gov. Scott Walker in jail. Walsh suggests her young Rembrandts ideas for their sketches popped up out of thin air.
One student said something to the effect of Scott Walker wants to close all the public schools
So the rest of the class started drawing their own cartoons and they turned very political. They have very strong feelings about Scott Walker, the teacher wrote on her blog.

If the student had suggested a biblical theme, they probably would have been expelled.

I call BS. Kids that age would not think of something like this if the idea was not first planted by someone older (teacher?).

I'm sure that next week, Mz. Walsh will have her students draw pictures of the Chicago teachers who actually did ...
close all the public schools ... Surely they must have 'very strong feelings' on that too?!

Teach children intolerance at a young age, and they’ll be intolerant for life.
Just priming the newest generation of voters.

What if they'd drawn cartoons like that of the president in jail...

...One student said something to the effect of Scott Walker wants to close all the public schools... And of course, the "teacher" did not correct this misinterpretation. Such is the indoctrination that passes for "teaching" these days.
I'm sure if the student had said "something to the effect of 'Obama wants to destroy our country', "teacher" would have quickly tried to disavow that student of such though, maybe even chastised him in front of the whole class, just to shame him.

The teacher that teaches this class is Kati Walsch, a high ranking member of Madison Teachers Inc. Her twitter page is laced with liberal rants.

I like it. This story is a reminder to tune in to “planet Madison”. I try to catch some on Iheart radio when I try to go work out.

She's also apparently a typical liberal coward who won't allow anything but kudos to appear in the comments section of her blog.
I pointed out to her that perhaps she should do less cartooning and focus on English instruction. I recommended that her first lesson be about the difference between who's and whose.
...Another student, whos father is a reporter, proceeded to correct the student with a surprisingly very factual and grown up answer.....
