Yes, I “get” that might cause certain theological problems in the minds of ancient Greek philosophers or Roman politicians,
***Roman politicians? You posted earlier that they could care less about such distinctions. This causes theological problems with Christ Himself, who was a monotheistic jew of the first century. Since you acknowledge that such problems exist and have earlier acknowledged that trinitarianism is a proper understanding, you should take your heresies elsewhere.
but I don’t think such problems concerned the earliest Christians, or our Founding Fathers, or many believers today.
***Interesting supposition. But it’s still a heresy, so take your heresies elsewhere.
That’s why I don’t think any of those people should be condemned as “God Damned Heretics”.
*** It’s left as an exercise to lurkers to see that brojoke says something to the effect “I don’t think it’s a big deal” and “it shouldn’t be a big deal to monotheistic jews if they looked at things my way” so “I shouldn’t be condemned as a heretic”, “I should be treated in soft, flowery tones rather than how Jesus treated heretics of His day as ‘sons of satan’, so “that’s how I see it”. You’re just a simple heretic.
Beginning with Constantine the Great's Council of Nicaea in 325 AD -- those Roman politicians.
