"Kevmo": "***If what brojoke has been doing here qualifies as penetrating analysis, then the whole field of historical research is doomed."

I'm a "history-buff", not a historian.
What I express here are facts & personal opinions, potentially "penetrating", but not necessarily so.
The "whole field of historical research" has no dependence -- zero -- on what yours truly, BroJoeK, may post here.
It is, however, based on assumptions which any true historian is free to challenge and adapt to his/her only analyses.

You of course are not required to believe a single word I post, but you do have to meet certain standards of civilized language, or you and potentially this whole thread, will be deleted by our mods.

It has happened, and it can happen again.
You've been warned.

What I express here are ... personal opinions,
***Yes, you push them as if they were proven history and can’t understand why someone doesn’t accept it as fact, such as your ridiculous Pontius Pilate theory. But that’s nothing compared to pushing simple heresy. You logged onto a thread titled “Falling Stars, Damnable Heresy, and the Spirit of Evolution” and defended an ancient damnable heresy of denying the deity of Jesus. That makes you a heretic. Jesus properly identified false teachers as yourself with labels like ‘viper’ and ‘son of the devil’. Yet you would suggest Christ was unChristlike when He did so, as if He was not living up to some “certain standards of civilized language”.
