Only a demented liberal would think that this was a good idea...There's another kind?

They used to feed Christians to lions. Maybe we can whine about this for awhile?

There used to be traditional liberals who had a sincere belief in helping their fellow man and were advocates of free speech, but those type of liberals died a long time ago.

I re-enact slavery every time I receive a pay-stub. Burns to think my slavery pays for the livelihood of “teachers” like these.

"This ain't fair. The only field trips I got to go on as a kid was to boring old museums and stuff. " Talk about "not fair" - I NEVER went on a field trip - not one! Ever. Unfortunately, they didn't do that in parochial school. :-(

You can have a government controlled education or you can have a free country. You can’t have both. Choose one.

Yeah, the county museum was the worst. We did get to go to the Linde gas plant, where they had liquid nitrogen and froze stuff. That was cool.

Bingo. I’ve lived in CT my whole life. My son also is 12, and he went to Nature’s Classroom last year in Charlton, MA. This sounds like a complete fabrication. Does the child have any corroboration? I could believe one or a few kids doing something like this, but a program event? No way. Just for the heck of it, I’ll ask my son tonight, if there was any discussion of slavery at the event.

I’m surprised some parent hasn’t thought of chasing these teachers through the woods. Look here, Vern, the tar and chicken feathers are still fresh.

Just some liberals trying to incite racial and class hatred.
People like this need to be in institutions, not teaching kids.
