I would love to live long enough to be around when the real Ark is revealed to the world.
I just want to hear what the Muslims, Liberals, Atheists, and revisionist historians have to say when we have the actual Ark of the Covenant is staring them right in the face.

Dang, those people can keep a secret. All those years, and now Rabbi Richman has to go and open his mouth.

The real one is hidden about a kilometre from here, in underground chambers created during the time of Solomon.About 45 million Ethiopian Orthodox Christians disagree.

I've seen different versions of the ark. Usually the cherubim are shown in different positions on the mercy seat, wings at different angles, etc.
Do we, or does someone, know exactly what the ark looks like? The reason I ask is, well, how would we know the real one if we find it?

Well... we could let you touch it. If you fell down dead then we would know it was the real one.

Oh, I’d think you would know.
Then again this could be a clever ruse.

It could be reached if we excavated Temple Mount, but that area is controlled by Muslims. Hmmm..... If those at war with Israel can dig long underground tunnels, why can't the Israelis? If they know where the ark is, don't the muzzies who control Temple Mount also know? Knowing muzzies, wouldn't they move it away to a more secure location (like Mecca) to keep it away from the Israelis?
They desecrate anything. Wasn't there a report a while back on them destroying Abraham's Tomb? You know, the father of Ishmael, who they are descended from (supposedly)?

Well... we could let you touch it. If you fell down dead then we would know it was the real one. LOL! I'm no Uzzah. But with so many representations of the ark out there, surely deniers will say, "That's not it!" It will have to be proven to them, and I would not want them touching it just to find out. No one is allowed to touch it - God's law.

To those who believe no proof is necessary. To those who do not no proof would ever be enough.
And the answer is no. We do not know what the ark looked like except for the description in the Bible. Remember it was carried covered. The only person who saw the ark was the High Priest and that only once a year.

Jeremiah tells us that the ark of the covenant will be of no consequence.
And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. And when you have multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, declares the LORD, they shall no more say, The ark of the covenant of the LORD. It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again. --Jeremiah 3

Thanks Carbonsteel.
There is a big fascination with finding the lost ark, but nobody asked a Jew. We have known where it is for thousands of years. It could be reached if we excavated Temple Mount, but that area is controlled by Muslims.
