The media uses the words “destroyer” and “battleship” interchangeably to mean “warship”. I doubt that even half the people at CNN know the difference between a shotgun and rifle, and to which class, if either, the AR-15 belongs. All they know is that guns are scary and the Navy has boats that shoot things.
They [the left] really have a fear of the AR-15 -
which means it is the rifle whose ownership we must most protect.
