How did he pass a test to get the one he got? If someone breaks the law with a gun or has black outs and mental issues written up somewhere, there should be a national database that works that should reveal this before they get a gun.
Bad enough some mothers take crazy children out shooting and giving them access to guns, but to sell them to the cray cray ones is ridiculous and has NOTHING to do with the gun or proper gun owners.

Medical records are, for the moment, still private. The subset of mental health records is even “more” private. A medical provider cannot release mental health records unless there is a signed release that specifically states that they can be released. After the implementation of owebamacare the fedgov will likely have access to ALL of your health records any time they want.
