Three shooters are involved in the Navy Yard shooting, a police spokeswoman said.
One of the shooters is “down,” police said, but two remain in a building on the grounds.
One of the shooters at large is dressed in fatigues. At least one has a long gun, police said.

Typographical error for "cap gun"?
If it weren’t updated at least daily, then I don’t see the point of it as advertising. I know the billboards around me are updated daily.
Interesting is the twelve officers who were seen going there ,walking on the street, with AR 15’s...does not mean they were Swat Team. ....The police officers there are trained to use AR 15’s they keep in their trunk. When a situation as this occurs they will remove them from their trunk immediately and respond with these rifles rather just the handguns.

He was caught back in Pakistan, sent to the US for trial, convicted and executed. His family back in Pakistan vowed vengeance on the US.
I’ve been out and about most of the day..just catching up. Thought I heard Obama on the radio, talking about the shooting, saying that we’d do everything possible to catch the bad guys..bring them to justice. Has anyone compared those words with what he said about Benghazi.

More likely, the witness said cap gun but the reporter, being one of those bicoastal effite un-Americans, never heard of or saw a "cap" gun so figured the witness said something else.

Jirus didn’t see the shooter, but Durham and co-worker Todd Brundivge had a terrifying closeup.
The pair were in their third-floor office when an alarm went off about 8:15 a.m., followed by an announcement of a fire emergency and orders to leave the building.
“I was on the phone and someone came up to my desk and said, ‘This is not a drill. Someone had just been shot. There are shots in the building,’” Brundivge said.
“So I hung up the phone and started to try to get people out of the building.”
Durham said she wasn’t exactly sure what was happening but knew it was a dire situation.
“Our wardens came running, yelling for everyone to get out of the building,” Durham said.
“We were standing right outside the door to go to the exit and we saw a man standing down the hall,” she said.
He was about 40 yards away but close enough for them to see he was clad in blue and had a weapon.
“He was a tall man, appeared to have dark skin, looked like he was in some kind of uniform and he had a rifle,” Durham said.
