Three shooters are involved in the Navy Yard shooting, a police spokeswoman said.
One of the shooters is “down,” police said, but two remain in a building on the grounds.
One of the shooters at large is dressed in fatigues. At least one has a long gun, police said.

I understand the statistics and the hype to denigrate the reports of an eyewitness. That is the favorite appeal of a liar.

We need to pass a law that says it is illegal to seize firearms from victims of your shootings! No civilized society can tolerate this!

You are correct. There are many studies on this. The best evidence is physical evidence. If you have photographic evidence, particularily video, if you can show that it has not been altered, it is very good.
The video in the Rodney King episode was severely cut. The jury saw the uncut version, which is why they found the police not guilty.
You know— the oldest main Marine Barracks, the Marine HQ Barracks at Eighth and I Street is 1/2 mile away. The dude wouldn’t have dared to try this crap at Marine Barracks, who are tasked with security at various special missions in DC.

How is it that the Washington Navy Yard does not have similar if not greater security— that will be the question— the dude stole or obtained ID to gain entrance with a shotgun. The rest he had on him came from Navy personnel he killed. Seven Minutes— good Lord.
