President Barack Obama said on Thursday he is shifting his focus to domestic priorities from a tense period during which he sought congressional approval to use military force against Syria for its suspected use of chemical weapons.
"Even as we have been spending a lot of time on the Syria issue and making sure that international attention is focused on the horrible tragedy that occurred there, it is still important to recognize that we've got a lot more stuff to do here in this government," the president said before a meeting with his Cabinet at the White House.
The president cited the budget, immigration, and implementation of his signature healthcare legislation as concerns he is turning to.

On the upside, he won't start a nuclear war.
On the downside, America is finished.

No, he's declaring the Syria story officially over. On ABC radio this morning it ranked 3rd after the Colorado floods and the girl with the brain amoeba. There will be some residual coverage thru today and it will be gone completely by Monday.
This is what Obama does.
Anyone know what's going on in Egypt? Gone.

After claiming that Syria was an urgent, humanitarian crisis he does an about face and walks away for his own commitment.
He’s taking his marbles and going home.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Yeah .. and I bet he can’t “shift” fast enough, either! :)

Wonder if Putin will save President Gormless’s bacon on the domestic front, as well as internationally....
Maybe the Russian strongman should retire from the Kremlin and hop a plane to the White House.
He couldn’t possibly be worse than Obama, and might even be a good deal better.
