Hip clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch, under fire for years for its policies restricting Muslim employees from wearing religious headscarves, violated the civil rights of a former employee at one of the company's Bay Area stores, a federal judge has ruled.
In a recent ruling, U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers found that Abercrombie violated anti-discrimination laws when it fired Hani Khan from her job at a Hollister store in 2010 for refusing to remove her hijab on the job.

Wow, I had no idea that they had a policy that permitted headscarves for anyone but Islamic followers...
Oh, right, no one was permitted to wear headscarves, therefor it wasn’t discriminatory since they enforced their policy equally among all employees. But that’s ok, now it is discrimination to be non-discriminatory and not create special exceptions for certain religious groups.
Wait, isn’t that discriminating against those who aren’t Muslim?
And what if employees change religions every two days? Who is looking out for their invisible rights?
Slippery slope rulings, making laws for exceptions, these are the ways you destroy a society. The court is inserting itself into a private contract on private property.
Obviously a misprint...they surely meant to say "tarpaulin".

The problem isn’t at this particular store, or for A&F, but for all of us, as this judge’s ruling will be used as a legal precedence for all kinds of Muslim mischief.
Now, food preparation workers can demand no pork products on the job, animal handlers can demand no dogs or pigs, and cab drivers can forbid drunk passengers or anyone carrying alcohol, just to name a few.
In the past couple of months alone, business owners have been legally made slaves to gays and now... Muslims.

Well, some of them are Christians. My solution is to deport all the Muslims in America.
This ruling is California specific, I believe, and another reason for business to get out. Yet, nothing seems to stop the California government form making the state ever more oppressive and hostile to free enterprise.
