I say...He got into a verbal with the wife.Big deal.
She told the cops he’s probably got a gun and maybe he did but it was not part of the dispute.

I think the smart money is exactly on this. Verbal arguments during an argument usually get overblown. Odds are he made no threat overt or covert and his wife is just trying to build a case for the divorce.
I found it odd that both wife and father in law won’t press charges....even though supposedly his nose “might” broken.
I think Zimmerman is a lonely man- he can’t go anywhere, do anything- his life has been destroyed. His only hope is to change his name. But I also think he is suffering from PTSD and perhaps has a death wish to end the nightmare train ride he has been on....
