LAKE MARY, Fla. —
Channel 9 has learned police were called Monday to a domestic disturbance involving George Zimmerman and a gun at a home in Lake Mary.
Police were called to the scene on Sprucewood Road about 2:30 p.m. though no other details have been released.
Last week, Zimmerman's wife, Shellie Zimmerman, filed for divorce, weeks after her husband's acquittal in the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

Story is now completely different.
I just watched ABC News with the usual cast of characters this morning and they apparently have not read their own news story. They are reporting Shellie’s prefabricated 911 call as if it is gospel.
Do they even read their own news reports???
Shelly’s not very smart if she doesn’t know a garage door doesn’t shut if there’s anything blocking the safety beam. If he’s in his car, then he can’t possibly punch anyone unless they have their head in the window. They can’t tell if he has his hand on his gun unless they have their heads up close to his window. He can’t take her iPad out of her hands unless, again, she was all up in his window. Sounds like they were the ones threatening GZ. This is already turning into a vicious divorce even though it shouldn’t be. It’s not like there’s anything left for her to get since it’s all in the lawyers’ pockets. He needs to move to another state so the inlaws can’t bother him and sign the papers as soon as Fed Ex delivers them.

Sounds like she just admitted they were the ones threatening him or he wouldn't have said "step closer." Seems like he's the one who should be calling 911 and pressing charges against them.

Her belongings or his? Did they call him over to get his stuff? The "stuff getting" is always a bad situation. Shelly wants her 15 minutes at GZs expense. Maybe she can team up with St. Skittles' mama.

Fox News said this morning that they believe Shellie was recording the altercation with her dad and GZ and the police took the IPAD GZ damaged to see if they could recover the video.
She needs to be charged for making a false 911 call.
Two things:
1]That she was the first one with access to the house to clear things out. I’m sure that anything questionable went into her pile.
2]That her father is the landlord and should know the law as regards this. If she forgot some stuff and this was his day to move then she should have stayed away until his stuff was out. The law is on GZ’s side here and the landlord needs to walk on eggshells.

She probably gave the password. All I know is that it is going to the State Atty’s Office. The media so wants to find George going ballistic on the father.

After watching that, it actually struck me as one of the most fair reports I’ve seen.
That said, I was really pissed to hear the police took Z down and gun point because of what was said by the wife, that’s scary but obviously a necessary response by the cops.
The spokesman gave her an out when he said that if someone places their hand near wear a weapon is normally stored, they can then have a reasonable fear.....but how does the wife get around the fact her father had no injuries?
She needs to be prosecuted, she put Z in a situation where he could have been shot and killed by the police, I would think the sops are kind of pissed about that too.
She needs to pay a price for putting many innocent folks in a potentially un necessary, lethal situation
