Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace laid out his thoughts on President Obamas approach to the situation in Syria in an interview for POLITICOs Turn The Table series, calling it a tremendous gamble hes taken.
I think, in a sense, the president is in the worst of all possible fixes, Wallace said. On the one hand, the hawks, the interventionists, are saying its not enough, that if were going to go to all this effort and take these risks, that we ought to do more than just punish Assad or, as the president said, send a shot across the bow, that we ought to degrade his capabilities and change the momentum on the battlefield. Theyre not satisfied with it from that point of view.

Well Obama is Obama ,but he really is Barry
Gee, Chris, ya THINK!??
Except, now O is saying the attack will be “significantly larger”.
Unfortunately, he screwed us, too.
I’m going on the record - Obama will do nothing....except run that mouth.
Yeah, the real problem is is that he has put the US in a no-win position. This country is going to suffer and people will die because we elected a community organizer who NEVER had a real job before becoming the Commander-in-Chief!
0bama just has to pick up the red telephone to Damascus, talk to Assad and then have the TOTUS say: “I believe my friend Assad that he did not use chem Weapons. I’m standing down.”
Kind of like Ahab except this time he tried to harpoon the white guy.
He’s lost credibility AND trust. He thinks he can talk his way out of it, but the more he rambles on the worse things get for him.
They say when you’re in a hole stop digging. But not Obama, he likes shovel ready projects. :)
Nonsense. I haven't heard ONE person say this. Obama will just embarrass himself by going on TV to promote a strike. Boehner should hold a vote shortly thereafter to the memory of his speech is fresh when Barry gets slapped-down big-time by Congress.
Gosh, you mean The One, who will not release his college transcripts, isn’t as smart as we’ve been told?
Yep, Barry got nothing to do with this crap. Unfortunately, his regime change efforts in Libya and Egypt have culminated into a complete “quagmire”.
His gun-running through Benghazi got whacked and he is unable to admit anything. (throw some poor asshat from L.A. in jail)
Obama is inept, incompetent, and irrational. Typical Lib.
Hang on folks.
>> It’s a tight spot, all right and Obama screwed himself right into it.
On the brighter side (for Obama), this will allow Barry to extend the “blame Bush” meme for at least a year, two if he really milks it.
Obama's not only in the "worse possible fix" but he's attempting to force "We the People" in the "fix" with him and so far, we are refusing to comply!
Most of our congress critters are standing with us (minus Juan McSmartmouth, and Linda Graham and the Flake, but most are standing tall, or at least putting their fingers in the air to find out what will keep them in office, so far.
If they get the idea that Americans are going to go along with putting American fortunes, American lives and prestige asunder to "protect American 'honor'" and bow to the Obama, they'd best be prepared to leave their cushy jobs in DC!
This just might be American people's "red line," with Obama!
Just one American's opinion.
You backward hillbillies just don’t understand the nuanced approach of his brilliant mind. This is THE smartest guy in the world. /s
Barry needs an affirmative action pass on this Syrian deal.
My guess as to what will happen is that the house and possibly the senate won't schedule a vote because they know it will be defeated, and then Obama will act without any vote.
Bigger is better.
Bigger = no Assad
Does anyone give a damn about the TRUTH?
Obama and Kerry LIED, and the media is terrified to say so.
Had to take a freakin' Russian leader to call the LIARS out for LYING.
Just like the stimulus, just like Obamacare, just like unemployment, just like Benghazi and Egypt, just like the campaigns...Obama and his cabal stand up and lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie. Then they lie some more.
And the media?
