Rather strange that I see the day that freepers would fervently oppose bombing people who support terrorism and Saddam Hussein. I remember when Syria was considered a terrorist-supporting state. I remember that we complained because Obama was cozying up to Assad. Syria is an enemy of Israel.

We have Democrats crying for war and Republicans crying against it. Strange times.

It hinges on how much of a world police the US is/should be.

For many, the argument boils down to: What compelling interest do we have in Syria?

How many deaths of American soldiers is that ‘compelling interest’ worth?

And those that we would support in this bombing were the ones that killed 3,000 innocent Americans on American soil just short of 12 years ago.

I say let them kill each other as much as they please.
