I don’t celebrate deaths.

I do, but only very VERY occasionally. Ted Kennedy was one notable example. This outright Traitor to America, who conspired directly with the Soviets to thwart Reagan, was a death that I savored, exquisitely, for months.

Well his dad was doing something along those lines for Adolf.

That family has blight all over it.

When each of us dies, I think God looks back on our lives, and either thinks, “There’s one who got it, there’s one who nearly got it, and there’s one I will always mourn for, who never got it and lived a life so much less than I would have wanted him to.”

I think God feels pain to see the evil die. That’s why I don’t really relish the death of anyone.

The death of the evil, seals their fate. God has lost that one.

You're not alone. I opened a bottle of very nice "special occasion" Germain-Robin brandy to toast Ted's departure from this earthly plane of existence. It has subsequently been used to pour a "Well, Bye..." dram in Hugo Chavez' name as well. I figure it'll last until Fidel is gone too, and probably a half-dozen other wastes of oxygen.

Why that particular brandy? It's one that Reagan used to enjoy and served both at his ranch and the White House. It seemed to me the ideal choice, when raising a glass over a room-temperature enemy.
