The disaster drill is being described as a crisis practice unlike anything the real power grid has ever experienced.
The GridEX II drill Nov. 13-14 will focus primarily on how governments will react if the electrical grid fails and, for instance, the food supply chain collapses.

Rather than do a test, they should just do a case study of Huntsville Alabama a couple of years ago when a tornado cut power to the city of about 750,000 people for over a week.
Citizens drove in all directions to gas stations which still had power. A curfew was imposed from dusk to dawn. People lined up for water and food; but no riots that I can remember.

Warm weather is more survivable than cold, especially at this latitude. How many will die if these fools interrupt power in a time of year parts of this country are often at temperatures ranging from the single digits to -30?
If even one person dies because of this stupidity, these jerks should be charged with Murder 1.

"The antiquated electrical system in the United States has been one of the most neglected pieces of integral infrastructure." Yet, Congress gave the Obammunist over a trillion bucks in porkulus funds to fix problems like this. Same goes for our roads, bridges, sewer and freshwater systems, railways, etc. One trillion-plus dollars...gone where?

Russia said if we attack them, they don’t have the military force to defeat us. However, they do have nukes and will not hesitate to use them....
Given we are running around like schizophrenic, paranoid, global military kooks on steroids...like we own everyone and everything and don’t know what we are doing and are loyal to no one (not even Americans), I don’t think there would be a lot of crying over a nuke exploded over the US to send us into the dark ages.
I think the Left here would love it. I think Obammy wants it.

In November, which can be the teeth of winter for about half the county.
What could possibly go wrong?

An electrical grid joint drill simulation is being planned in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Thousands of...FBI agents, anti-terrorism experts, governmental agencies, and...What's planned next? 'Jihadist Nuke Drill Simulation Day'? (gee -- I hope I fit under my nice safe desk just like when I was a kid)
