Has the NY Times and AP agreed yet to refer to him only as Chelsea Hasan?

HANG this bastard , SOON....no appeals , no more taxpayer funds for his worthless existence . Hang him and leave the corpse to rot off the rope . This is the fate he has earned .
I agree but guess what? Obama or a POTUS has to sign off on it. Whats the over/under on that bet?

Drove by Fort Leavenworth last week.
Very imposing place.
Signs saying it is illegal to even photograph the place.

The statement is not correct. Private Nidal Hasan or former Major Nidal Hasan now Private E-1 would be correct.

What a waste of taxpayers money.
Yep, a quick, public hanging is definitely what is called for and most tax/cost effective. The survivors get to spray him with pigs blood as the cart takes him to the gallows.
Oh and televise the whole thing and make You Tube videos so all the islaminals get a sight of how we deal with islaminals in our country.

He has already been dismissed from the service. That is the equivalent of a dishonorable discharge for officers.

The article states that for death penalty sentences an appeal is automatic. Is it possible for Hasan to waive the appeals process?

If I understand the UCMJ correctly an officer cannot be reduced to the enlisted ranks. Additionally, since an officer’s commission is legally an act of Congress, a courts-martial cannot reduce the permanent grade of an officer.
