I don’t know much about TD Jakes, he seems to be a true minister of God....
50,000 people - quite a crowd, but probably of no interest to the media except as an opportunity for snark. I should add that I’m not much of a fan of most televangelists, either. I could probably count the ones I sort-of trust on one hand - Charles Stanley and . . . well, it’s easier to name the dubious ones - Benny Hinn, Mike Murdock, Steve Munsey, Creflo Dollar, Jack van Impe, Paul Crouch, etc. I put T.D. Jakes somewhere in the middle.
The Curse of the Reformation!
Why in the world would a minister of the gospel invite a nonbeliever to headline at a Christian conference?
T.D. Jakes is a HERETIC! He does not believe in the doctrine of the Godhead, commonly referenced as the Trinity. He is NOT a man of God. He appeals to emotionalism, panders to the poor while living an extravagant lifestyle. He promotes a vain philosophy that is a mile-wide to draw adherents but an inch-deep in terms of the doctrinal teachings of Jesus Christ. BEWARE!!!
