I don't know about this case, but I've heard that WalMart takes ~every~ slip and fall type lawsuit to court. They never settle.

But on the other hand to show that you can’t get away with frivolous law suits ... show an example to others.

No, it's not.(cheaper)
They have lawyers on staff.
If they didn't need to have lawyers on staff, they could probably pay the rest of their other employees higher wages.

Well, at least the ones who do good jobs, and don't steal from them, or set up fraud and theft rings...

Most people of low, middle, or average intelligence who have a small open wound, wash it with soap and water, douse it with peroxide, and put some neosporin and a band-aid on it.

This country is in dire need of Tort reform!
