Here’s why I don’t think this is a clear cut case for minding our own business: There’s “international law” stating that chemical weapons use is illegal. If Assad did do it, and gets away with it, then “international law” is void. We can debate the validity of such globalist garbage, but has things are, there really is not choice but to act in some way. It would have been nice is 0 hadn’t been playing so much golf and been engaged the last two years. We do need to find out who used them, but now that they’ve been used, the option to sit and watch is off the table. It sucks.
....”Now that theyve been used, the option to sit and watch is off the table. It sucks”.....
Not true....we did nothing in the two chemical attacks prior to this one Syria....nor did we do anything when Saddam took out the Kurds.....
This is all about Obama saving face for the red line he stupidly drew....and the fact he thinks neutralizing Syria will curtail the Iran threat....also stupid thinking...This is all part of a long-range US strategy to isolate Iran...
..... but once Iran is isolated, we’ll be facing Russia and China, not Iran.
What is the difference between thousands who have been killed by bombs and gunfire....and 300 killed by chemical weapons?
The idea we’re entering this because of chemical weapons is deceptive.....
Simple. Put out the word that we have un-deniable evidence that Syrian rebels accidently released sarin into the air, inadvertently killing hundreds of their own. Surely NSA can intercept a couple of calls and emails to prove it.
Syria is not a signatory to any chemical weapons treaties, and this all happened within their own borders. Try again.
Just one little problem in my humble opinion .... since the rebels with mb backing probably did the deed (imho) I have complete doubt, if proven, anyone would be told anything other than the probable lie being brought to the forefront. Something else is going on and the west may have full knowledge of the rebels and the mb having been the perpetrators. This opens up threat avenue and western leaders are feeding the cobra, in hopes, of the cobra remaining tame enough to not strike the west. Of course though then there are several wild cards named iran, turkey, saudi, china, and russia.
